Nothing new. He’s one of about four receivers they like right now. Probably only gonna take two for the cycle (three max) and Caleb Burton is already in. Kyion Grayes should be committing whenever he gets to campus. I assume Kojo ends up at Georgia.
We're just going to have to do a good job evaluating and developing the three stars until we start putting a better product on the field, because top recruits and transfers clearly aren't buying in to what he's selling so far
we as fans thought he was probably the staffs top choice at QB a few months ago but they offered other QB’s since then so nobody knows he appears to be a very good runner and average to poor thrower which has a lot of the fanbase hoping we don’t take him
Just don’t get all bent out of shape when Kirby chooses the least talented one, and Gunner transfers because your own racist fans kept calling him a cracker.
UF under Mullen is an ideal situation for him imo. A lot of ppl are down on him but he has a lot of physical tools to work it.
there are plenty of fans who want him but they see these Texas kids and the Kentucky kid and are basically this
Nice. Sounds similar to the last QB we signed. If he's open to other schools since Johnson moved on, I hope we make a move on him.
He told our 247 site today that Ohio State and A&M stand out right now, with Georgia and Alabama in his top group as well. If visits open up in April he’ll make those and decide this summer.
Ty Simpson is the QB I really really want for Bama this year. Sounds like it's going to be us or #Clemson Tigers as of right now
Simpson is QB1 to me nationally. Dude is a sure fire thing ND waited to offer him until this week..... ND who has a severe qb problem has only offered 4 total qbs in the last two years. Hell of a game Brian Kelly is playing
Yeah, we had BOB on him before he even had an office, and Clemson obviously has been on him hard for a bit. Seems big time.
NDs qb recruiting strategy: go after a highly rated qb every other year. As soon as they get on campus crush their confidence and harp on things they can't do. They then start the off year 3* because they can do the one thing the high rated guy can't, but offers a very limited skill set outside of the one thing.
I feel like it might be Clemson unfortunately. Especially with Clemson not really taking a blue chip QB in this past class. Tanner Bailey will be an okay consolation prize but I really wanted Simpson
Yea never went to another target. Yall just seemed zeroed in on him and persistent. Plus a coach's kid 5* heart type.
we will see won’t be his last commitment either since he has transferred high schools multiple times plus he is a DFW kid
