Not braggable. But beating UGA by 16 and being the only team to stay within a score of the Alabama juggernaut are pluses. But unfortunately we can’t claim a late comeback win over powerhouse Cincinnati as one of our bright spots.
Literally nobody is disputing this. Your program is still quite a few steps below championship caliber. We were 1 step below championship caliber a couple years ago before blowing ass last year. Next year will determine whether we can take the next step or not. Florida will have zero bearing on that, because of the first sentence of this paragraph.
Unfortunately for the Gators, many (most?) of the players that accomplished those things (while still losing 4 games) will not be on the field to lose 4 games this fall.

I started making fun of Florida for celebrating a transfer by one of your dorkfans using the team tag. I don't know why it's controversial to state that if Arik Gilbert makes the difference against UGA this year, we weren't going to do shit anyway. I would way rather have had Gilbert at UF than Alabama.
I remember the time UF started a tiny person that couldn’t throw and should have been a walk-on... We just didn’t throw the ball and beat you anyway. And hey, they were a championship caliber team. As long as it wasn’t raining.
Hoping the decision has been taken from him this fall with Daniels. This program has always found a way to surprise though!
