Really happy the staff landed Diggs. Think he’s going to be a major contributor as long as he sticks it out
kid is very toolsy but didnt really make much strides here. If he can play up to his physical tools you should be
he was playing awesome as the dime LB until his injury happened, i think he's a big pickup for you guys assuming he's healthy
corrrect, there was talke he might play as a frosh in the spot JOK obviously ended up taking by storm
His sophomore highlights are really good. No junior film yet because of the virus. If he progresses like you’d expect someone to from their sophomore to junior to senior years, then he’s going to easily be a four star.
Yeah, he got lost in the shuffle here because of injuries, but I think our most talented LB group would have included him as one of the inside two.
So Bobby Taylor's son is a 4* corner and ND isn't even listed as a school of interest. WTF is going on there?
he camped at ND and didn't look that great apparently so they didn't offer after the camp. He had a good season on the field so they offered him but it was too late by then because he was upset he didn't get offered at camp. Not sure we would have had much of a shot since it sounds like he wants to stay south but he soured on ND after not getting the camp offer.
We like to harp on the negative sometimes and there is plenty. But it just hit me that we have players transferring and it is not a huge blow. Also these players are damn good players that we all review positively when a fan of another team asks about them. that speaks to the depht that Nd built. Now it’s just about taking another few steps and get more elite players. that brings me to another point, if Nd can’t recruit more than 30 of the top 100 players, why is the staff not recruiting them harder than the other teams that have to recruit 100 players. Kelly should be on these 30 players like a madman. That’s not a crazy thing to ask. We should not hear about how he never built a relationship with a top player that Nd wanted.
It's so weird that he became such an enforcer in the blocking game. With his build I figured that he was going to be more of a big wr TE type. I guess a big part of him being a good blocker is being fast enough to get to the the right spot to engage with power and then just enjoy mauling db's.
That’s not even his best block this season, the guy was relentless. Never seen anything like it. Claypool was the closest, he just wanted to smoke the other guy. Blocking him was not enough
I think a difference with conference play and the incestuous schedule, if you put on tape mauling opponents that opposition also is familiar with (and quite frankly mostly mediocre at best) there is an intimidation factor that they fed off of last year.
wow. had to check to see if this was the combined score of the two games (it was not. this was one game)
