Love rogue. I have spent an absurd amount of time on Spire and Dead Cells. Highly recommend Hades to you. It's only on switch and PC/mac but the system requirements are super low.
My brother loves hades but I don’t have a switch and I don’t pc game. Played so much dead cells, it’s incredible. Really recommend undermine as a fun option.
Final Fantasy XV was a lot of fun. Definitely recommend it. I still have FFVII in my backlog that I was to start but I know it's going to consume me. Got back into Gears Tactics last night....and it's a lot of fun once you get past the first two levels. You are kinda too weak to win effectively....but once you start to level up, it becomes smarter/better/more fun.
What's in everyone's backlog? Mine is: Gears Tactics (working on this one now) Final Fantasy VII & VIII The Outer Worlds Cyberpunk 2077 Metal Gear 5 Control (started this - WILD game)
Loved Outer Worlds and Control is probably one of my all time favorites cause the story line is just so good to me. Didn’t like the remakes of either final fantasy, felt painfully dated, and cyberpunk is cool to look at but just weirdly boring.
had $65 in Best Buy rewards expiring 2/5, checked the site and it's available for pre-order already....this was perfect timing
Switched from Xbox to PS solely because of the Show back around 2012. Everyone needs to play the greatest sports game made.
Our Xbox One X has turned into a paper weight. Black screen of death 2.0. First time it did this a few months ago, I was able to 'fix' it by going through all of the quick fixes posted online. This time, none of those are working. I've tried 'em all. Yesterday I looked into sending it to microsoft to have it fixed. They want $270 and possibly more to fix it. No fucking way in hell I'm going that route. Watched a video yesterday of someone taking apart an xbox and fixing it themselves...which I could probably do as long as I don't have to screw around with replacing shit on the motherboard. (ie: if it's the hard drive I could replace that) Any other options out there? Anybody ever gotten their xbox fixed by a 3rd party that was cheaper than the crooks at microsoft? I will not spend $300 to get a console fixed that cost me $500 new just 2+ years ago.
I had a dream I was at Wal-Mart and they had a Series X in stock. I debated buying it, cause I didn't really want/need it, but I bought it anyway since it was on hand. I'll take that as a sign I should get one.
$270 is insane. You can get refurbished ones online cheaper than that. Plus a brand new Series S is only $299. I'd try to fix it myself then if you fail just find a refurbished one. Or get a Series S if you can get your hands on one.
The big guys (apple, MS, etc) charge a lot to fix their hardware. Try a local store like gamestop or google the error message and read forums to see if they found a brick and mortar place that will repair it. I'm sure they will beat MS on price. another vote to attempt the fix yourself and lastly to get a new console instead of paying $270 to fix an old console. a last ditch effort would be to see if your CC that you bought the console on, includes a benefit to extend the warranty. I've used this before on a cell phone repair and got a new battery replaced for free. Would have been $100+ otherwise.
I'm on day 3 of no work (snow days - Nashville has 4-6in of snow and is entirely shutdown). What game should I check out? I just downloaded Deep Rock Galatic, which looks like it has potential but I need squad mates. Thinking about finishing The Outer Worlds. Started FFVII and its just sooooo dated I don't think I can get over it. Recommendations? Entertaining game pass games?
Ive been reading up on Outer Wilds and thinking about it giving a shot. Not sure if it’s on game pass yet though.
Outer Wilds is an exploratory adventure game. There are some puzzles, but more like problem solving. It's a beautiful game and experience, highly recommend it to anyone.
First gun they let you loot its passive killing blow caused shrapnel explosion the guys that made Bulletstorm made this so overtop weapons and ragdoll/gore I'm already hooked and I haven't even got to pick my class yet
The fuck, to get an Xbox from Walmart you have to sign up for Xbox All-access. To sign up for Xbox all access they have to run a pull on your credit? Can’t I just pay for the damn thing?
Xbox all access is a great deal if you can get it, they just haven’t really made it available that I’ve seen since launch
I’ve had trouble signing in all week. Eventually it works and fine, but sometime it would take 10 to 20 minutes to get in.
