This guy's got Coot stink all over him. Hilarious that he's the one hamstringing Dushaun "A Columbia, South Carolina native, Easterby lettered in basketball and golf at A.C. Flora High School and Newberry College and studied theology at Erskine College and Liberty University.[1] He served as an operations intern with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the summer of 2004.[2] In 2005, while working as an academic tutor at the University of South Carolina, Easterby was hired by Dave Odom to serve as the "character coach" of Gamecocks men's basketball team, and worked extensively with Dawn Staley and the women's team.[3] After leaving South Carolina, Easterby served the Kansas City Chiefs as chaplain, where he ministered to the team following the murder-suicide of Jovan Belcher. Placekicker Ryan Succop, who attended South Carolina when Easterby was there, recommended him to Scott Pioli for the position.[4] Easterby was hired New England Patriots in 2013, in part to deal with the Aaron Hernandez crisis. Throughout his tenure, he was the only man in the league to hold a paid position of character development coach. He described his work as "to serve the players mentally, physically and help them as people”.[5] He also helped the team with draft evaluations, helped orient new players, and held Bible studies and religious services. He grew close to Bill Belichick, and by his fourth year, the football operations staff reportedly reported to him. [3]"
"What team in their right mind would want this psychopath??????!!!!!1" He was hired by the Houston Texans in April, 2019, after they outbid the Carolina Panthers and Miami Dolphins for his services.[6] Several members of the Patriots organization were reportedly furious and felt betrayed at Easterby's departure.
Seriously, is this guy a Coot mole looking to sabotage Houston Taters? "He reportedly was a force behind the trade of wideout DeAndre Hopkins, saying “we need to move on from that person."
I just figured he was a coach at some point, but that hire is just amazingly stupid. His resume is basically just "character coach". He has dolphin teeth and looks like a creep. You typically have to be awful for multiple generations like Cleveland, Detroit, and Buffalo before fans feel bad for you, but Houston is a fast riser lately
The SI article from December explains how he got there. https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/12/10/e...texans-chaos-after-power-struggle-daily-cover
FCA might legit be one of my least favorite organizations on the planet. I'm disappointed to hear Dawn Staley "raves" about this POS
Recently? I think his tenure with her was a while ago. Although she posts Christian devotional bible verses every day they have a game
He attended Dabo’s Christian Fantasyland for 3 years. Surely he can find a way to make it work with this youth pastor
Dabo may be a hyper religious nut in general, but he's not a hyper religious nut when it comes to fielding a team to win football games.
i randomly clicked on that to 20:45 and he complains about food in europe and then does a weird accent
The part I heard was a story about a kid getting hit by a mack truck because his friend couldn't throw a football accurately. The dad of the dead kid told the inaccurate child that he should spend the rest of his days telling people that he should have died instead.
Someone needs to let Mike know the competent son is running the actual McNair business. It’s literally impossible to lose money running an nfl team so putting the window licker in charge makes total sense by Bob before he died.
damn adam i know myself, along with presumably everyone else, am wondering if the cult leader who's chased off the franchise qb is remaking the franchise for the better. i have massive brain trauma so complicated situations like these are very difficult to grasp
the browns were just genuinely incompetent. run of the mill stuff the texans have been taken over by a cult leader. nothing else really compares to this
The evidence seems to point to the single cult leader, but I don't see how it can be a guy who is less than 40, that never played football, who is a cringeworthy public speaker?
Fully expecting McNair to put ownership of the the team in Easterby’s Sunday collection plate at some point
