Yeah I guess I'm just confused about how you can transfer to a school and transfer back, logistically. No clue how eligibility works with multi-sport athletes.
Yeah that was weird. It was announced this was the plan a while back but never really read into how all that worked.
ACC scheduling is so dumb. On the women’s side those doubled up games are not home and homes, but both at whatever location would have been typically home this year.
denver jumps to a quick 3-1 lead. didn't realize they changed up the faceoff this year. denver getting all the wins at the faceoff dot and duke looks lost on defense. perhaps having that game under their belt is a big advantage
its abundantly clear that duke hasn't played a game yet, but this is way worse than they should look. but of course, assuming we get through a season, they'll still be there in may for sure. denver looks way way way better than i expected
14 people? i honestly am not sure what you're asking here. like with football, those rankings are incredibly subjective. but they've been talking up that o'neal kid for years and he seemed to live up to the hype in game one.
virginia and towson off to an entertaining first 7 minutes. tied 2-2. towson has had at least 3 pipe shots and they're getting some good goalie play
Nets Owner told the Ivy League he would pay for the cost of having a bubble so the kids could play and the Ivy League told him no thanks
certainly not through the first two games. I think the offensive flow gets ironed out over the season but inconsistent play in the net and on faceoffs won’t go away.
Former D3er Kevin Rodgers made his D1 debut with High Point today, scored four goals with two assists. The Lynchburg product seems to be fitting in pretty well at that level
I went ahead and recorded all college lax games on YouTube TV this year. Look forward to watching this on the treadmill tonight.
Love that yttv feature. This should be a good one, too. Some big time recent upsets by HP in these games. Would be great if they could do it again
Kevin Rogers was playing in D3 last year and his second game in D1 he starts against #2 UNC and drops 3 goals and 2 assists.
If any of you end up watching some Maryland games this year, keep an eye out for a freshman named Eric Malever. I’ve trained him since he was 6. The kid is legit. Maryland seems to have an upper classmen heavy team, so I think they are playing him at midfield instead of attack/x, where he is more natural, but he should get plenty of opportunities to shine.
Same. No fans allowed at Maryland home games, either, so I’ll probably be watching it with his parents (BTN streams extra games online, that it doesn’t air on TV based channels). The kid is like a nephew to me, so hoping for something that resembles a ‘normal’ season (meaning, I hope it isn’t shortened), so that he can show what he’s capable of.
Wish Lynchburg had an indoor press box so I could work all their home games. Alas, I’m not sitting outside for 2.5 hours when it’s freezing cold. I’ll just watch from home.
Yeah, only had one assist. They went up big early and played their third stringers for a lot of the second half, so he didn’t see a lot of time.
