Yep. I had a few skateboarding friends that introduced me to cKy and Big Brother magazine while in middle school. Totally blew my mind.
Never laughed harder in my life than opening night of Jackass 2 in theaters. My abs were legitimately sore the next day. As an aside, I've been watching Wild Boyz here and there - very underrated show that also could have been even better.

Knoxville is going to have CTE when he gets older from all the concussions he took. Went to go see the Ring with some classmates in law school, bailed with my roommate at the last minute on them and saw Jackass instead. Best decision I ever made.
Knoxville is a genius. His head was so scrambled from all the hits he took and he was literally getting prepped to get in an ambulance but still had the frame of mind to ask “is butterbean ok?” I never laughed harder.
Spoiler Unfortunately for Knoxville and Steve-O, however, things might be feeling a little bit too real. According to a video update from Margera on the Bam Margera HQ website, both Knoxville and Steve-O were hospitalized after just the second day of production on the movie. Apparently, the two were jumping on a full-speed treadmill while wearing “band equipment,” i.e.: tubas.

Poorly written article and the fucking format is maddening. Says being on Jackass over the years has put him through hell. Asks people to boycott it. Yet, says he had been trying to do what they wanted him to so he could get back on it. Then says boycott Jackass because I'm working on my own project people should be supporting instead. He's obviously messed up and needs help but so does that fucking writer/media outlet that wrote that article. Terrible job all around.
Seemed like his big complaint was they required him to drug test and breathalyze and they didn't make the guys that have been sober a while do it. Not sure what he doesn't understand about that.
He is an alcoholic/addict. It's not about not understanding. It's a common mindset and character defect of an active user. Nothing is my fault. Look at what they are doing. Etc.
I grew up with a friend who was a big skateboarder so I got into CKY and Big Brother magazine through him. Even in those days, I found Bam easily the most boring person affiliated with either project. His best asset was the fact that he brought guys like DiCamillo and Rake along for the ride. So if we get Jackass 4 without him, it’s really no big deal.
Bam's parents and Uncle were the best part about Bam and then even that went away when it turned out his Uncle was a scumbag.
