I have a 2 year old that slam dunks things from time to time. Which of these two would offer the most protection without going too thick (tpu vs hybrid)?
I always buy the hybrid for my phones. It's a great case unless you need waterproof or are in the habit of launching your phone at some concrete, etc.
Do any of the current music services have apps that allow you to export downloads to mp3? I had one for GPM, but I'm looking for a new one since that's going away
weird if repeatable, likely something misprogrammed on the carriers end. I assume no issue on WiFi? Also, full disclosure "5Ge" is not actually a 5g, but rather a 4g connection. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy...l-misleading-5ge-network-icon-for-4g-service/
Try a different browser and see if it's still happening. In any case, you should use DuckDuckGo instead.
Got the 4a 5g. Anyone know how to stop my screen turning on when I get a text? I disabled the gestures for picking up or tapping the phone, but can't find anything else
Is it just me, or does the delete button on google keyboard not work like it used to? Mine only deletes like 5 characters now, when held down. Used to delete until you let go. Edit: seems it will delete a string of characters, with no spaces, no matter how long. It's really annoying.
My google keyboard is fucked up for TMB. I'm using firefox, and haven't tested it on chrome, though. I have to hit space after every swiped word. Fucking annoying.
Yeah, using Firefox to type on tmb is all messed up. No issues with other websites or when I use brave
Have a Samsung Tab A ( I think) that was rarely used. Its a few years old. I found it and plugged it in. It immediately tries to update the OS. Well, my wifi has changed since the last time it was powered on. It goes in an error cycle and won't get out of it. Is it trash or can it be reset and saved somehow? I dont have the original charger, but have used different ones as it spins in purgatory. Not sure that matters.
I actually got it to hard reset this morning. I think the main problem was all the chargers I was trying to use wouldn't charge it properly. They are new and work fine on other devices. Anyways, i did a factory reset and it's good. Besidesthe fact that the account used originally is my ex's. So I am still SOL.
was thinking of this, then not much information came and everyone loves the S21 ultra and the preorder deals are fantastic so preordered that
googles stock system is something else, it was out of stock for half the day before i ordered, then had an estimated delivery of February 10th or so it'll be here tomorrow
I was able to use one when purchasing? They gave me $260 when ordering on app, only $200 on website. No idea why. It was the same on both orders. Picked up ear buds + 2 cases on one and wife got a watch and case with hers.
i use google fi so ordered through them, get $400 google fi credit and the samsung credit but have to activate the samsung one after it shows up just pending now as i assume someone has to review the proof of purchase
How much do they give you for your old one? Samsung gave me $700 for the old one. Ended up being $400 each and we got the ear buds, watch, and 3 cases. I was happy with that. If they do that every year I'll continue to get a new one every year. I use my phone so much that $400 yearly for the newest one isn't bad imo.
i haven't had a new phone since Pixel 3XL so not apples to apples think google is giving me $155 on trade in which for a nearly three year old phone ain't bad
Apparently the Feb update for Pixel phones running Android 11 fixes the sensor issues from the Pixel 3 and up. I guess I can sell my Pixel 3 now.
whichever one(s) control the double tap to wake, lift to wake, edge. those are what went out on my P3
Somehow after years, I got an old phone to charge and turn on. It has a 2000+ photo library that I want to extract. However, it apparently has this: Is there anything I can do?
apparently it is an old ransom ware. That image came from a website. the phone is not connected to a network or wifi.
Big fan of the new tab screen update on Chrome. Six tabs that you can easily swipe to close out. Feel like I'm not quite fully grasping it but like how it looks
Is there a way to stop media controls in the notification pane once you're done playing? They come back in poweramp, pocketcasts, and YTM, even after swiping it away. I have to force close the app altogether to dismiss them.
my brother texted me about this a few days ago, it came back within the hour. A reboot or w/e will probably fix it, if not, wait for the next time the Google app is updated.
I use the stock clock app and designate songs from Spotify as alarms. So when I close out the clock app after turning off the alarm, I also need to open up Spotify and close that out for it to get rid of the media control display in the notification pulldown. Kinda annoying that I can't just swipe it away. But I also generally end up listening to music in the shower so it staying up isn't the worst thing either
Is there some setting that gives my wife ads based on my searches? She just got a random ad for a shark tank product that I had just searched. Our google accounts aren't linked. I guess I'm wondering if my wife gets ads on all of my depraved searches
My wife has gotten ads based on shit I've looked at. Never understood why that happens unless it's using an ip address for ads but idk how that stuff works. I've never gotten ads for things she's looked at.
