I liked it. Some people on Untapped said it was thin and too sweet. I didn't get either of that but 1 can is definitely enough.
Yeah, saw that and was skeptical but Untitled Art usually makes a good stout and the flavor appeals to me.
yeah been crushing Blackstacks stuff a lot over the last six months but they've been churning out a bunch of those lately so has limited my buying
Quad IPA's are upon us. I'm not a huge fan of triples (at that ABV I'd rather have a big stout) but I sampled some at Celestial in 2019 that were phenomenal.
Man, I don't fuck with TIPAs. I don't enjoy them nearly as much as IPAs and DIPAs(too malty) and they fuck me up way too quick.
Single to quad, I’ll drink them all. BlackStack had a quad recently that was delicious. But with that ABV and a 16 Oz can you need to think twice before opening #2. Like Lyrtch I love BlackStack. I buy whatever new thing is in the cooler each time I’m at the store and will also add something like a Lupulin, 3 Floyd’s, etc and some kind of stout.
Have you had the blackberry French toast sour from BlackStack? Saw that this week but at $7-8 a can wasn't sure about it. I think I've only ever had their IPA's.
anything new from Lupulin/Blackstack/Modist (biased due to it being my neighborhood favorite) are auto purchases, Falling Knife as well is in the running for automatic buy for new places for not twin cities centric but that we get I also largely auto buy Drekkers stuff
No. I don’t care for sours so it doesn’t sound good to me. I do really like their Saison if you ever see that. Otherwise, I just consider them great IPAs.
Posted in the Dad's thread, my birthday is this weekend but wife got me a weekend stay at the BrewDog DogHouse Hotel equipped with the shower beer package. Pretty excited about it
I’m out on Triples. I may try one every now and then but they’re way too big and boozy for me. Doubles are my sweet spot. I prefer 10%+ in stouts and BWs
They need to share better with the Theodore (near me now) and Sleepy Whale (nearer to soon to be new home).
Need some beer glasses. Other than buying from local breweries (which isn’t easy at this point obviously) anyone have good recs? Also, and I apologize that this has likely been asked and answered 100 times, but what’s the best way to get beer from across the country?
Working on a BlackStack TIPA crowler right now thanks to this thread. I feel like my night is about to go sideways
Doesn’t really matter, cheap set from target or wherever. You just need tulip and Pilsner and a couple of basic shapes Beer from across the country — trading
Go to a brewery and slip a few of theirs into whichever female you’re with’s bag. amirite Zack Zedalis Jorts
I order them from random breweries' websites when I'm drunk and money doesn't mean as much. Is there a specific beer you're looking for?
I walked out of a pub with a nice Guinness glass in Dublin and didn’t want to carry it so I ended up chucking it into some bushes in a park.
Triples are hit and miss. I’ve got breweries I get triples from and breweries I’m never ordering triples from again
