Pretty much. Gastelum has pretty much exclusively fought top 10 guys in last 7. Heinisch has been up and down vs a bunch of career mid card guys.
I can see that, but the cliff for UFC is unlike any sport. When you fall, you fall hard. Gastelum isn’t a high scorer, so easy fade for me on DK. I have a couple of lineups where Heinisch was the only dog who made sense in that price range.
O yeah, Kelvin laying an egg wouldn't be all that surprising. But he is still only 29 despite that seeming impossible given the amount of high profile fights he has had. I still have 18% Heinisch in DK.
Get ready for some fuckery. Super close fight that was clearly Rowe round 1, Green round 2, and I agree with giving the 3rd to Green. But we have a drunk judge who gave the first round to Green.
Rogan’s ohhhhhs are really misplaced these days. I’m convinced he’s betting some of that Spotify money and you can usually tell who he’s backing during the walk outs.
Stipe is actually a smaller HW. He weighed 233 lbs for the last DC fight, and that's probably around what Jones walked around at when he was LHW. Now, Stipe throws a lot harder than the guys Jones has faced.
Side note. I made a return to JRE to listen to the Ngannou interview. Highly recommend. Hard not to root for that guy.
i thought gastelum's arm/elbow was going to break backwards in the first round of this fight and i had to mute it/change the screen.
It looked worse than it was because of the full extension but Heinisch really didn’t have leverage. Gastelum defended well with his body poisition while heinisch had to use all arms, prob why he was so out of breath round 1
I'm a couple beers too many into the night but I think Usman is about to wrestle fuck Burns for 25 minutes.
Attempting a dry February. The one good thing is not having to rewatch the main event the next morning because I have zero recollection of it.
