I guarantee a Chipotle franchise manager is getting mad if you put them in Hardee's tier. Of course maybe they shouldn't have had all that e coli
They both offer better food and experience than BK and McD. Breakfast is a big booster for Hardee’s too.
I left off all the sandwich and burrito shops bc for the most part they don't have a drive through. Same with Five Guys.
We got a Culver's near us recently. Only tried it once but the burgers were meh to me. Not bad, not great. The shakes were great though. Need to try more of their menu.
Famous star with cheese and an order of criss cuts with a side of classic sauce is a better burger/fry combo than pretty much anywhere else. Chipotle is bland white people food. Acceptable if you live somewhere without Mexican immigrants I guess
Hardee's was the only fast food restaurant my small SC town had growing up. Before Pizza Hut, before Burger King, before Subway, there was only Hardee's. Maybe that's why I associate it with the lowest of the low. Town has since gotten a McDonald's but that's still it
FRISCO THICKBURGER® A 1/3 lb.charbroiled 100% black angus beef patty, crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese, tomato, and mayonnaise, served on toasted sourdough
I wouldn't say that I ever crave taco bell, but it's not bad once in blue moon. I've also never gotten the shits from taco bell. Must have an iron stomach. Also Jimmy John's is decent...500x better than Subway.
i get those sometimes and add lettuce, tomato, onion to it i need to not be doing anything for the following 2-3hrs though so it's rarely a week day lunch item
It's the same thing. Same company. Same Star logo. Carl's Jr out west, Hardees in the east. Both have regional things but
Closest one to me is 20 mins one way. I’m absolutely going to go grab a Frisco at some point this week now.
Hardee's had some Nashville Hot chicken tenders for a minute that were pretty damn good. Hot and a very solid chicken tender, better than any non-specialized-chicken chain.
That Popeye’s Chicken sandwich breast is just so much bigger and juicier than anyone else’s out there that it’s changed my perspective on others - like going back to someplace you’d only ever visited as a child. The Wendy’s one seems smaller now, but I don’t know if that’s actually true.
Do they still exist? I may or may not have liberated some of those solid glass A&W mugs from their dining rooms in my selfish teenage days.
Used to wreck their double bacon burgers and root beer floats during lunch for a summer job I had in HS. Only one near me now is like 50 mins away.
Guy on the baseball team in high school worked there part time, part of his pay was getting to take home fried chicken.
Had checkers yesterday. Shit comes frozen no doubt but it's still my favorite fast food chicken sandwich.
Also only place around this will sell you a double spicy chicken. Although I generally go with a couple of the regulars.
They allow you to mix and match from their "2 for X" too so you can get a double cheeseburger and a spicy chicken. There's not one remotely close to me so it's been months since I've had it. Just so happens that wife has a hair appointment today and it's about 10 minutes from checkers so I do believe that will be dinner.
Yea I had a double checker burger with cheese and a double spicy chicken with cheese yesterday. 5 bucks and was fantastic.
