The funny part to me, is the announcers were acting like Pegula wasn't playing unbelievable. She was playing out of this world. Very few errors
Seriously, Pegula has a chance to win this whole thing. The way she played in the 1st and 3rd sets, her game was amazing
Holy shit - Berretini out injured & Tsits gets a walkover tonight. Hey Djoke, do I need to state the bleeding fucking obvious? That's what an injury looks like - you don't even get on court, you goddamn drama queen.
And tonight's women's matches are already done and Barty's dream run continues. This is looking like a repeat of the 2019 French where she played NO ONE in winning the title. I guess Hsieh is winning through from the bottom half?
Looks like Sashas in the news/social media again lying about his baby momma. Djoker is a douche but Sasha appears to be a psychopath.
I think those two terms and individuals are fairly interchangeable. The good news is that one of them loses today.
Utter madness - Karatsev into the semis. Something I have NEVER seen or heard of - Dimitrov walked off court in the middle of the rally on set point down in the 3rd. I mean, WTF?
I haven't seen any of it - I'm just checking scores & reading reports of the match as I'm currently working. Hearing he was injured explains things somewhat. That said, it doesn't change the fact he still walked off during a set point. And THEN played another set! You don't find that bizarre?
Having watched the whole thing, no. He conceded the third set after a break and in the final two games all but served underhand. His intention was to get to the set break to get treatment He got treatment between sets and was a little better but never hit 100 serving, got a little more treatment but it wasn't enough. Gave it a go though
And naturally he breaks him to start the fourth and is up 3-0. If it goes five I give him less than 1% chance.
Djokovic into the finals, depth on the men’s side is such a joke but I do like the story. I’d be interested in seeing the numbers but this has to be the longest Novak has ever been on the court before AO finals appearance.
Well, tried my best with a bunch of reverse jinxes but they were all no good. Wendel needs to give me lessons. At least Zverev lost.
Excited for Brady-Pegula tonight. Think the winner, especially Brady, has a real shot against Barty assuming she wins tonight as well
I really wish they would have staggered the men women today. That said I work on international shit all the time and Australian time in relation to here always fucks me up.
