Same as to fast food (excluding when it is necessary, such a road trips and being stuck at airports). Also a T-Mobile customer, so I will have to peep this deal.
My 3rd grade class went on a field trip to Hardee’s one morning. Watched them make biscuits. looking back, my teacher was a fatass and this is hilarious. “Learning”
My friends and I went to Hardee’s for breakfast in high school. We showed up about 20 minutes late for AP English. About 5 minutes after we all get there, my friend grabs his agenda (which acted as a hall pass, more or less), asks the teacher to use the restroom, and starts walking to the door. The teacher was pretty mad. She said “you showed up late and now you are going to the bathroom right after you sit down for class?” my friend turns to her, and says “Mrs. Baker, I had a monster biscuit for breakfast.” Turned and walked out. She understood.
I cook 3 meals a day? Yes. Most days. I also regularly grab food from restaurants that aren’t fast food chains.
leftovers, sandwiches, cereal. I don’t eat fast food much but also just because you eat at home doesn’t mean you’re cooking 3 times a day on average I cook once a day. Sometimes more sometimes less.
i probably eat fast food once every month or month and a half and just other shit, cook, living in the city there's a lot of shit that caters to fast service/take out that isn't fast food
today I was lazy. I had a bowl of cereal coffee and cut up banana for breakfast. Lunch made a sandwich and dinner will be some leftover carne asada, rice and beans. Not glamorous but hey quick easy and fills me up.
That was his phrase. Obviously there are morning where I eat a bar or oatmeal for breakfast, that isn’t really “cooking.”
oh I agree that’s why I made the distinction but I honestly didn’t know if you meant actually cook. Right now I do cook more often than regular because my girls are home.
I need to try to get on cereal and sandwich vs chickfila/panera for breakfast and qdoba for lunch everyday.
This sums me up pretty well Typically have something made from the crockpot that will last 4-5 meals, I also usually have some pulled chicken on hand from the bone broth that I make weekly, just need a side to go with that. Then there's the assortment of lazy food like you said (sandwiches, cereal, that kind of stuff). The one meal I'll have to "cook" is just some form of eggs usually, which takes no time at all. Maybe once or twice a week I'll have to actually cook for a second meal. It definitely helps that I've always been the type who doesn't mind eating a lot of the same foods over and over
I eat fast food at least a couple of times a week (more if you throw in fast casual), who wants to fight about it?
why tho i get it probably every third costco trip or so, cause there's a culvers over there and culvers is great
I usually eat a fast food breakfast once every week or two. Wife will stop on the way home from taking daughter to school. Same with dinner, maybe once every week or two, usually on nights daughter has swim or dance. Used to be a lot more pre-Covid. My work schedule varies a lot so wife never knew when I'd be home so she'd make something small for her and G and then I'd get something on my way home. Now she cooks nightly and I just come out of my office to eat with them and then back to office.
SMOKED SAUSAGE, EGG & CHEESE BISCUIT A Hillshire Farms® split sausage link served with a folded egg and a slice of American cheese all on a Made From Scratch™ Biscuit at participating restaurants.
I eat fast food maybe once every three weeks (CFA, McDonald’s, in n out, shake shack, Popeyes). However, if you throw in my favorite sandwich shop, burrito spot, taco joint, etc., then it’s once a week.
had the Zaxby's chicken sandwich yesterday - was pretty good and easily the best sandwich on their menu. Only part I found disappointing was the Hot Zax sauce which I'm pretty sure is just a 50/50 mix of their normal Zax sauce and their wing sauce.
My dad was pushing 280. Cut out fast food / soda and dropped 40 pounds in like 8 months. So it depends on how much and what you order. but this is Popeyes thread, meant to celebrate their amazing chicken, even if you only get it a few times a year. If you get it several times a month, more power to you.
I’ll admit I have/had a serious fast food problem. It was much better for a while, then this fall I gave in and said “cheat week, back to being good next week.” But I did it like every week. To compound the problem I had the mindset of “get it all out of your system now” so I was getting it more frequently because I made the excuse it was the last go round.
Yeah, I think the bulk majority of us know those two things. Take it to the frugal and healthy thread.
Take the fast food talk to the fast food thread. This thread is for the Popeyes chicken sandwich gotdamit
