2024 College Baseball Thread

My bad. I almost didn't say anything.

 

We are young. Hopefully that will work out for us better than it has in basketball. I saw something on a couple of grad transfers and I think one of them might be playing first. I especially have zero idea on who is catching

 

i was at that game and was like 5 mins late getting there and when i sat down it was already 3-0

was a brutal 3 hour drive back to asheville

 

Yeah, that first inning was unlike anything I've ever seen.

 

Watching UGA and Evansville right now. Evansville up 2-0 in the 3rd after a couple singles and a couple walks with an error at 3B. Bases loaded with two outs.

Weird thing about it was that Joey isn't really that wild. Nonetheless, he walked the first 4 guys and there was the ballgame. Probably should have started our usual Sunday kid and kept him on a short leash. I think it was Will Sandy

 

i am pretty sure will is still on the team? idk i really didnt get to watch a ton last year and right when i started to get into it, covid hit so i don't know shit about shit with this team since 2019 was the last time i was plugged in and that was 38 years ago

Coming off the #1 recruiting class and going against the #1 team in the country, you gotta have low expectations and hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Our Saturday/Sunday starters both Freshmen throw 95+ and should be fun to watch

 

Oh I know. But I've gone into this series against UF hoping it's finally the year we break the streak only to choke it away on Sunday each time. I'm pleasantly surprised with what DiMare has done so far. Hopefully he can stack elite classes and get UM back to being a perennial Omaha contender.

 

I want Miami and FSU back crushing it on a national level so badly. College baseball needs them to be great
