A bit bitter they played in Whalers gear today. If the Thunder start wearing Sonics jerseys I'll lose my shit.
No surprise, he’s spent a number of years coaching Canadian college hockey and grew up in Saskatoon. He’s got the itch to coach, not sit on a studio set and talk about it.
This is incredible. Hopefully this becomes a normal thing in other locations. Rangers/Canadiens in Lake Placid would be awesome.
I like both of these teams’ reverse retro jerseys better than their actual 3rd jersey. Also like the Avs’ maroon better than the blue pants they wear this year.
Haven’t watched many caps games this year and didn’t realize Ovi is really starting to show his age. He’s kind of getting cratered at 5v5. Still putting up points obviously
Lots of players that played in the chl and are overraged and not good enough to play pro right away. Not nhl caliber prospect. Almost none of them make it to the nhl.
Look at that glorious helmet, you had no choice but to feel protected with that beautiful couvre chef on your head.
Lafreniere is having no puck luck at all this season, but I get the same feeling watching him as I do with Jack Hughes about how badly both teams need to get them someone who can finish all the chances they create.
He did not play for almost a year. He is not alone in this situation but it is a rough situation to start especially with all the pressure of being the first pick in ny. He should be fine, he seems like a guy that can stay down to earth.
fleury is so athletic, it’s ridiculous how fast he could move as a young goalie. Now he is a little slower but he is still one of the fastest in the nhl. He is a little inconsistent but the guy was never appreciated to his full value, that’s a bit why I was so hard on murray. Pitt fans did not understand what they had in fleury
Also, I will start a go fund me so I can buy a house around that Lake Tahoe. If you guys contribute 5 000 000 or more I might invite all of you for a week-end
Yep, I think people are quickly trying to label him as having a terrible season much like Kakko legitimately had last year. It’s really not the case. Lafreniere should easily have double digit points at this point given the offense he’s created. The Rangers as a team are just yielding an absurdly low shooting percentage so far this year, and his production is getting crushed by it. Lafreniere will ultimately be fine.
