Christ. After a WV rewatch it suggested AoU so I threw it on. Like 20th time watching and I just now realized the Doctor is Amadeus’ mom.
“That up there, that’s the ENDGAME. How do you guys plan to defeat it?” -Tony Stark (AoU) Really hope they somehow extract Ultrons programming so they can bring him back. They’ve only done it like 50 times in the comics.
I’m doing the rewatch with my boys, one or two movies a week each weekend. Last night was Ragnarok. Of the many memorable scenes, right now my favorite is the little smile Loki has while listening to Thor tell the story of stabbing 8 year old Thor after pretending to be a snake. Perfect reaction by Hiddleston.
Plan on Titan totally worked though. But Batman would have put Quill in a sleeper hold before the dingus started pistol whipping Thanos
Saw on Twitter that rumors are Jennifer Lawerence will be Sue Storm. It was just Daily Mail/Guardian BS and it didn’t look like there was anything to base it off of.
Yeah sorry I was just posting that with the bc it seems like no one knows. But the article does make it seem unlikely
That’s what I’m thinking. Imagine her riding out a 4 picture contract. It would be worse than Portman in Thor 2 after Jenkins left.
I get the feeling Disney wouldn’t want to cast someone who already demands her level of pay in a recurring role.
Jennifer Lawrence is someone which I get told is a very good actress yet I've never actually seen it happen. All I get from her is the female version of Daniel Radcliffe, 1 facial expression in every movie I've seen her in.
I've liked Elizabeth Olsen in the MCU, but her playing an 2000s sitcom mom in this week's WandaVision made me love her. She's a star. Of course, when she was acting like she was taking a day to herself and ignoring the twins I did have the thought of the director telling her, "just pretend you're your sister and Heath Ledger is in the bedroom popping Oxy like they're Tic Tacs." I immediately feel terrible.
I was until I saw they hired John Watts was directing. Now I feel like they'll skew younger with the Four.
I mean it’s two good (krasinski) to excellent (blunt) actors you know are gonna fucking nail the roles. Just pull the trigger and be done with it
It’s literally perfect casting. I’m usually not someone who jumps on the Internet casting bandwagon, but I can’t think of a more perfect Reed and Sue than those two. And obviously the chemistry is there, since, you know, they are married in real life...
Liz has shot way up my list. Could be the edibles talking but she deserves awards for her performance in this show.
I absolutely love the Office but I'm not sure I love Krasinski if I'm being honest. personally, I expect Disney to use F4 to make stars rather than use someone already established. we'll see. the good thing about it is it's easy to just sit back and expect them to hit a home run at this point.
Krasinski proved himself to be a versatile actor (and director for that matter) with the Jack Ryan show and A Quiet Place. I think he can pull it off. Really though, the Fantastic Four, particularly Reed, is going to be the hardest tone for an MCU movie to get right. There's such a fine line/balancing act between silly and serious that lends itself well to an animated movie like The Incredibles, but when done in live action...is a challenge to pull off. It's hard to convey someone as insanely smart as Reed Richards, who has plenty of reason for serious dramatic moments...while also being Stretch Armstrong.
