Seems like Feige had embraced the multiverse and AoS takes place in a different one then the “main” MCU timeline. They didn’t really even attempt to connect AoS to the primary timeline after the big twist in the first season
I know it was when Feige had less power at Marvel but its still weird to know that the got Sam Jackson to appear in an ep of AoS
They do that in the comics too. During The Civil War arc, they had a bunch of other series about what other characters were doing when all of this was going on that had no effect of the main arc. There was an entire Wolverine Civil War arc, e.g. that made lots of references to the main arc but the main arc never made any references to it. https://books.google.com/books/abou...5MC&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button
Her powers are similar to what we see in the hex Westview. She can shape shift, energy blast/shield, flight
The last couple of seasons in AoS might as well be in a different universe. 0 ramifications of IW/End Game, nobody got snapped, no even mentioning of snapping. After season 2 the AoS show runners saw how trying to force in an entire arc/season to fit around a movie they have no advanced plot knowledge of tanked the show and they decided to go a different direction.
Couldn’t get in to AoS I think Feige is moving forward pretending it never happened and I’m good with that.
They tie Coulson to the helicarriers in AoU in season 2. Think Dump's girl Lady Sif makes an appearance that season, as well.
I'm really enjoying WV, but I think the whole "we're going to have a big cameo like Mando" thing has set up these crazy theories and expectations to the point where I wonder if they can even live up to them in the end. It's Marvel so they probably will, but they kind of unnecessarily set the bar really high there.
Makes sense. They have to figure out a way to kill her off, too. Good for her, though. She saw that Ragnarok script and how her crew was massacred with barely a line of dialogue on page 8 or whatever and made sure she was too busy to film the movie. Smart.
So the joke on the credits is justified but I think they’re doing it on purpose. Shakman and Feige have consistently said that WV is 6 hours so without doing the math, because I’m way too lazy to do that and I’m sure someone on Reddit has, the last two episodes will be longer but not movie length as I’ve hoped so 8 is 47 minutes but I imagine like 40 minutes long of the ep
I think it was a couple of episodes in the first two seasons. I remember him being in an episode when they were dealing w/ Gravitron.
I hate that they release new episodes early in the morning. Wish it was a reasonable 8-10 pm release time. I have to avoid YouTube/Twitter all day Friday till I get home to watch.
I don't watch until Friday after work. I occasionally forget and click the this thread on Friday mid-morning. Fortunately most of the mid-day posts are variations of and so I've managed to avoid spoilers so far
And Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider showing up as the cameo would certainly be one that most fans haven't guessed yet.
Or you could stop whining and set at alarm for 3AM. Or stick it to the man and watch on your phone at work while you pretend to be working.
yeah i love watching while eating breakfast friday mornings, but there are certainly times I wish they would release these shows not at 3 am ET.
my favorite rumor of the week: The final episode features Vision taking on a copy (White/Grey Vision), and that the "actor I've wanted to work with my whole life" that Paul Bettany is referring to is... Spoiler himself. That would be the most perfect bit of trolling and I wouldn't even be mad at him if it happened.
When I saw the episode title was "Breaking the Fourth Wall" there was a moment where I thought Here Comes Deadpool!!!! Then I realized that breaking the 4th wall was a pretty standard move for the 2000-ish sitcoms and calmed down. But the cameo shit has indeed reached a level of being unrealistic.
Mando got nominated for a few things. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see wandavision nominated. Television has not seen a budget like this many times. Disney plus is kind of changing the game on the quality we will expect of our tv shows now
for as much as GOT turned to shit in the end, those first few seasons were at least on par with Mando and WV imo. my first instinct would be to say it was much bigger, but I could be wrong.
