People that come to a thread on a subject to shame people that are a fan of that subject are weirdos.
My hate of the Wendy's spicy chicken was the lack of consistency. Sometimes it'd be spicy, others just a normal chicken sandwich. Regardless of location, it was just not like CFA where you know what you're going to get. Popeye's has always been a damn wildcard but I still fucking destroy it on a semi-regular basis.
Interested to hear what people think with the BK spicy that's coming out and the Wendy's weirdo popper thing. I eat FF about twice a month. I love it, but I can't exercise as much as I'd like because of work/family, so I have to take it easy. If I'm gonna shoot my shot, it's gotta be good. Spoiler tried to shoot my shot at Popeye's on Sunday and get chicken sandwich AND flounder...they didn't have either #BirminghamPopeyesproblems?
Its not the same breading as the chicken sandwich. It is the same breading as their bone-in spicy chicken. The chicken sandwich has plain breading.

I do wonder this. Popeyes always has shrimp on the menu, I dont recall if there is other fish usually. I wonder if they have a dedicated single fryer for seafood. Probably depends on how the location is run, bc Popeyes.
Got the flounder for lunch. Plain and ditched the bun as per usual. Got some spicy mayo on the side and that made it pretty decent. Did not detect any spice on its own, and he breading wasn’t like any other Popeyes item.
https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/22/business/taco-bell-crispy-chicken-sandwich-taco/index.html It's a creative concoction: The all-white piece of chicken is marinated in jalapeño buttermilk and fried with a crunchy tortilla chip coating, served in a puffy bread that's shaped as a taco. That's then topped in a creamy chipotle sauce. There's also a spicy version that includes an additional topping of jalapeño slices.
Top 3 big chain spicy chicken sandwiches and all are great. Popeyes, Chick Fil A, Wendys jalapeño popper. Depending on day those are interchangeable as favorite
I'll probably try one but it just seems odd. I don't go to Taco Bell for fried chicken and I wouldn't go to Popeyes for tacos.
ya but when the meal is a giant piece of chicken, I want to be good. This isn't your general mush from tbell
Had the McDonald's sandwich just now after a 9th grade baseball game and long bus ride. It's just ok. More of a cfa knockoff than popeyes.
with all due respect, raising cane's is the most overrated fast food on the planet. never seen so many people hyped up for cafeteria style chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries. also that sauce sucks.
Fresh canes chicken with their sauce is top tier. Their fries are meh at best. Once I saved a side of Popeyes spicy mayo in the fridge and dipped my canes in it. That fucked.
I also enjoy the Canes' Texas toast with the sauce (I know there's nothing remarkable about it, I just do).
this was the only thing KFC had gotten right in decades ... and they did away with it in typical KFC fashion. this shit fucked.
I ask for the spicy mayo on the side so I have extra to dip my Costo rotisserie chicken (and my penis) in.
When you ask for extra spicy Mayo you usually get the cup on the side along with it on the sandwich since they’re already made up. If you get a well-sauced sandwich you don’t have to break into the extra.
