Jersey Mikes is probably 1a Jimmy John’s is 1b for me right now when I go for a sub. Haven’t seen a Quiznos in years but that was always a good choice. Firehouse and Which Wich are also solid options. Never really had any of the others and Subway is garbage.
I only buy my subs from a local farmer who grows the subs organically and pesticide free and hand makes the artisanal condiments.
We only have 3 here. Firehouse, subway and Jimmy Js. I’m sure there are better out there, but had to go with Firehouse based on my options in area
I used to love Quizno's black angus steak but they all closed where I live, haven't had it in years Same Jersey Mike's & Quizno's are much better than all 3 but can't get them unless out of town
Jersey Mike's i'm also a huge Quizno's fan bc their honey mustard is awesome, but there isn't one near me so i don't ever get to enjoy it
I’ve said it on our team board before, but we have a Jimmy John’s, Penn Station and Jersey Mike’s within a few miles of our office. Our Warehouse Manager comes back with Subway 2-3 times a week.
Penn Station is by far the best choice on this list. Not sure how national they are though, so probably a lot of people haven't had it.
worked at a Quiznos in high school. god-tier submarines but franchises were designed to fail so RIP Quiznos
I like the Jersey Mike’s subs in a tub, but I like the Jimmy John’s bread better. Also I like the JJ option to use lettuce instead of bread.
Yeah, they were borderline. Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
Jersey Mike’s is the best overall but Penn Station is incredible. I greatly miss being able to get Penn Station and Larry’s Giant Subs regularly.
jersey mikes is what penn station wishes it could be. subway doesn't belong on that list ... it's trash.
I assumed Goodcents was national but looks like it's only in a few states. Would have been my choice.
Some of you motherfuckers talking Jimmy John's should be embarrassed. If you have to ask for double meat to balance out the bread-meat combo, the place sucks. If they don't put bacon on a fucking club by default, the place sucks. In summation, Jimmy John's sucks. Thank you for attending my TED Talk.
Damn didn't know they were in that many states. Since they're originally from Cincy I just thought they were around here and some bordering states.
the Quiznos business model was basically selling food and paper supplies to their franchisees. they owned the food distributor. I remember food costs being ridiculous then subway added the toasted option and it was curtains for the spongemonkeys
Jersey Mike's for cold cuts, Potbelly's for hot subs(though we don't have them in FL). Firehouse is a decent alternative for hot subs.
I like Jersey Mike's. They have good fresh cut meat for cold sandwiches. But if I want a hot sub I'm going Penn Station over Jersey Mikes every time.
mike's cheesteaks/chicken sandwiches are better than penn station admittedly biased, as i worked at a PS while in school, but the toasting of every sandwich will always be stupid.
I’m a big fan at Jersey Mike’s of the chicken bacon ranch, sub chipotle Mayo for the ranch, and then have them mix in the cherry pepper relish while they cook the chicken. holy shit I’m starving now.
Of the three I have tried (Subway, Quiznos, and Jersey Mike’s), Jersey Mike’s wins in a landslide for me.
I’ve had multiple times in my life where I’d eat Subway multiple times a week. One of those times the girl would literally just give me stamps on stamps on stamps. It was always a convince thing. Jersey Mike looks great but something doesn’t add up on the taste. I like a tuna from Jimmy John’s and now stoked about devine recommendation on the spicy peppers Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
Real talk, Port of Subs was my go-to hangover food when I lived in CA. To this day, I'm still not sure if they have the best cold cuts in the game or I would have eaten a monkey's asshole to soak up some of the alcohol.
