So they used to be able to make it years ago. You would request it and it took some time, like ten extra minutes, but it was very good. I imagine it’s the same process.
It seems like cfa does things restaurant to restaurant a lot of the time. Fucking Degausser still has spicy biscuits at his location.
I mentioned earlier in this thread that I live in a town where the closest Chick Fil A is about 12 miles away, so about a 20-25 minute drive. This makes it a bit of a hassle to get Chick Fil A unless you're out that way. Recently someone in our town has taken it on himself to remedy that. The guy set up one of those drive thru coffee stand buildings and each day goes and buys a bunch of chicken sandwiches and marks them up by about 25% and sells them out of the booth. Dude puts up an actual Chick Fil A logo so I thought it was maybe corporate testing the market for feasibility to finally build on the land they've owned for 10 years but someone on Nextdoor asked about it and someone else said they knew the guy doing and it's just him trying to make some extra cash. I'm wondering how long he gets away with it before they tell him to stop using their logo.
In other news, for you Red members/addicts, there is a new level coming out in March called Signature that will get 13 points/dollar. Need 10k points a year to maintain ($833 at Red level, $769 to keep it)
Not a ton different from Red currently I don’t think. Basically it’s to weed out the broke bois that were barely hitting Red and reward the people spending $1k plus.
Have a cfa about 5 miles away next to work. They just announced they are building one even closer. Less than 2 miles away. Shouldn't have any problem hitting the next points tier.
Covid has hurt my progress. I had one within walking distance of work and it was the only thing within walking distance but the one near my home is inconvenient for me
Got the spicy grilled deluxe last night for the first time. Also my first time at CFA in 3+ months. Felt great to be back. Receipt came with an offer to complete a survey for a free sandwich. Doing that now.
Big chicken at it again, ruining other businesses. https://www.businessinsider.com/chick-fil-a-drive-thru-lines-infuriate-nearby-business-owners-2021-2
It is a legit issue where I live where it is in front of a Lowes. It looks like they have somehow found a way to fix the issue as they have purchased what little land is nearby and will be renovating/expanding, thus are about the be closed until June.
I refuse to eat at my cfa in the morning because it's such a cluster fuck. It's one of the highest volume stores in the country allegedly and there's nowhere to expand it.
Several of the ones I frequent have this exact issue. One did a complete tear down and re-design last summer to better handle the mass drive through age and it’s fine now. I don’t really see people going back to inside dining any time soon either.
yeah down here in SW Ohio, when the line starts to get out to the street they push it to three lines and get people outside working their way through the line to move it along. them fellers can push a line when they're motivated.
