I think they need to make his power be like body horror. Make it this incredibly grotesque transformation that he slowly learns to manage and use to his advantage
The less they emphasize Reed's powers the better imo, it was Marvel and Stan's first crack at making a "superhero" and his powers are really pretty bad. Reed is a superhero because of his mind, not his plastic skin. Sue Storm however has an insanely cool power, the more they can show that the better.
Maybe go with what they attempted (in the movie, not as a studios) to do with Banner for a bit. Where they bring him along for his mind, not the Hulk.
I'm not "butthurt." We just constantly have the pratt discussion. Second time in like 3 days. No one can ever point to what he's done or said.
Let it go, that’s not what this thread is for. Wouldn’t have even posted that if I knew someone would even react to it. Christ
What we need is a Canceled Celebrities thread so these items don't need to be constantly rehashed in the Marvel and Star Wars threads.
But Hulk is at least useful in a fight, whereas Reed's powers are really best suited as a male gigolo.
In the modern world of TV, it'd be the last scene of the first episode, and the internet would lose its fucking mind. There'd be so many stupid "GUESS WHO DIED?! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?" videos on YouTube within an hour of it dropping on Disney+
It won’t be them though we know they would be great, and fans want it. Winter's Bone and Silver Linings Playbook are her best performances. She got the Oscar nom for Joy but I don't even think that's one of her best performances.. I love J-Law but she also kind of got burnt out from being in two franchises, and just went non stop it affected her performances. She's taken a long enough break and now doing good work again. She'll be in Adam McKay's next movie along a crazy list of a cast. Which you see a tease of her with Leo in the Netflix trailer also... I might be weird but I loved Mother! Like, I don't need to see it again but I still loved it
Speaking of rumors, there is one trending on Twitter that Disney is looking to bring some characters from Big Hero 6 into the live action MCU.
Given that Japanfrancisco doesn't exist in the MCU that seems a stretch. Also a live-action Baymax would be horrifying.
Probably talking about one of the comic book versions. Disney Disneyfied Big Hero 6 from comic to film. Chris Clermont was involved.
