Getting to the course is a hassle on a normal weekend but with only 10k allowed in it really won’t be that bad. Part of kiawah getting this PGA was a big infrastructure re-vamp and improvement plan to deal with the capacity issues. It will be better than 2013 for sure.
It's a hike from downtown but I can't imagine 4-5,000 extra cars will make the traffic that bad. When I was out there last June, Waze took me on a weird route where we kinda cut off half the beach traffic and it took 45 minutes.
Listening to Max talk about the 3 footer with NLU is why people love him. It was a "nervous ass stroke" is how he described it I think. Nobody gives that level of honesty.
Recently watched the episodes of Strapped with him in it. He’d be a fun guy to play a round of golf with.
Twitter was saying 2 broken legs. Nothing from a credible source yet but you have to believe it is likely true. Pretty big story to just totally whiff on.
His tournament loaner. Genesis logo clearly visible. EDIT: well you can see that on the tweet above. I'm watching the news.
It hasn’t been rated yet safety ratings. Other Hyundai SUVs have been rated well. So hope that’s similar and Tiger is ok.
For as spicy as Tron is, he generally has enough awareness to know when it is/isn’t appropriate. One of the main reasons The Refuge became a cesspool is because there were a lot of Tron-wannabes on there that didn’t use the same level of judgment.
They needed to institute a paywall to get rid of a bunch of the riff raff a few months ago. Before that it was a bunch of golf-type Farvas ruling the place.
I want to make a JT/Geronimo joke but I fear it's a little too soon. Maybe if we get a positive report from Cat and JT is in contention this weekend.
This golf course is wonderful Tour entertainment. Birdie opportunities. Huge blow up opportunities. Constant pressure put on players to hit shots. There’s a level of unpredictability, which is exciting, that most other courses don’t present. Im sure the players will complain loudly.
