From the news cast he was heading down a hill at great speed, lost control, crossed the median into if had been present oncoming traffic, and rolled several times through the trees and what not to the cars final resting place.
It's a little bizarre that he's worth nearly a billion dollars, just had a surgery, and doesn't have a driver. If it is substance-related, thank God it was a single-car accident.

You never without pain management. Then you taper off, counseling, etc depends on what they were addicted too. But yeah being and addict or in recovery doesn't mean you can't have your pain managed if needed. Just takes a bit more planning
