Joe is a Cowboys fan, for the record. Schneider is a top 10 GM (easily top 5 earlier on), but yes, their insistence on ignoring the OL gets pretty frustrating.
Translation: David Tepper paid $2B for this franchise 3 years ago and he's getting antsy for a splash
I hope for Carolina's sake "whatever it takes" means a lot more than three 1s and a RB Houston probably doesn't want.
Carolina's only shot at Watson is trading the some of the young talent on the roster like Brown, Chinn, Moore and Burns along with the #8 pick + future picks, IMO
Nothing the Texans have done has made sense for a few years now, they could absolutely be enamored by a top 5 (white) RB. Once you start playing the angle to he counts as a slot WR too, Houston might not be able to contain themselves.
I think there are almost no assets not worth trading for Watson on his contract. In reality, he likely asks to renegotiate his contract early in 2-3 years bc he’ll be criminally underpaid, but whatever.
They’re so bad at this. The front office is claiming he isn’t on the table no matter the package while having their media mouthpiece (John McClain with the chronicle) float what it would take.
Think Deshaun has had his mind made up for a while and will force his way out even if it takes pulling something like Carson Palmer. What a shitty situation for this new coach, that had to be an awkward first meeting.
I'm sure it was very cordial. Watson almost certainly has no issue with Culley. But you got to do the meet one time to make it look like you tried thing.
Whats going to be hilarious is when the Texans dumb ass fans still support the team next year after all this shit
