But he did beat that coach as many times as all other SEC coaches combined since 13 or 14. It was losing to other “rivals” and shitting the bed multiple times against teams he should beat, lack of offensive player development, and the trend recruiting was on
ahh that makes more sense. I see that his brother, Brandon Harris, is the CB coach at FIU. I remember he picked Miami over UCF out of high school as a pretty highly rated recruit.
Big time hire for South Florida recruiting. Maybe ol' Gus still has a few tricks up his sleeve as a middle finger to the SEC.
Did we find out why Wyatt cleaned out his office in the middle of the night and then return a month later?
what exactly was the character flaw in heupel that everyone couldn't stand? and was he just a suck up to danny to where danny didn't notice the issues?
Wait...so they did Spirt Splash without the homecoming or the splashing? No one was even in the fountain.
Baseball got smoked 3 of the first 4 games (twice to FAU, once to Stetson). Just beat #1 Ole Miss 3-2 in the series opener.
Baseball beat #1 Ole Miss 7-2 in the final game to win the series. Should have been a sweep but blew a 5-3 lead in the 9th of game 2. I know Lovelady was out the first week and not sure what kind of impact a HC makes in baseball but still a really nice bounce back after losing 2 of 3 to FAU and getting shutout by Stetson. Has UCF ever beaten a #1 ranked team? In any sport?
ya just saw that baseball has done it 4 times just since 2018. Guessing the other 2 were midweek games against UF or FSU. A weekend series win is pretty nice though.
One put away from a series sweep. Sinclair really needs to get his shit together in the bullpen. Hopefully the Liberty series allows him to get some good work in and get his head straight.
Do we have more coaches than Tennessee? Also...this is looking so much more and more like a blessing in disguise when DW left and took Heupel (well Heup wasn't maybe in disguise) with him. This feels like a shot of energy and they look to be going after another caliber of player just judging by Brandon's RTs of guys getting offers. But I don't follow recruiting that closely.
It is either we are really giving great offers, or Huep really sucked at social media. Somehow I feel like I see every hire and every offer come through my feed based of me following the most basic UCF stuff.
UCF has offered 155 football athletes for the class of 2022 6 - 5 Star 60 - 4 Star 77 - 3 Star 1 - 2 Star 11 - Unranked
did Frost or Heup even both offering 5 star guys? I know we don't have any but didn't even know if they tried.
Was it Frost that said he wasn’t going after 5 stars because they will just go to UF or FSU anyway or was that an O’Leary quote I’m remembering
Was it MORBO! that said certain coaches don’t count toward the assistants allowed on the field or something like that?
You get 10 on field coaches + HC You get like 4 or 5 grad assistants that can also be on field outside of that, you can have analysts, but they aren’t recruiting or on field during practices or games.
So Mohajir was kicked off the CFP Committee, being AD of UCF disqualifies you but Arkansas State does not? https://collegefootballplayoff.com/news/2021/3/4/cobb-selection-committee.aspx
It didn’t really matter, he only had 1 season left on it anyway. Maybe now that he is off the committee he will start spilling the dirt about it in regards to our undefeated run
Read those. Its all from guys who left after LSU. No one who was around after that. And I believe they got 3 guys willing to say hes a good coach.
