I thought it was weird I just got a couple random likes.

The tag system is weird. I’ve gotten alerts months later for team tags

I've mentioned it in the space thread, but The Farthest: Voyager in Space is one of the coolest documentaries I've ever seen. It's about Voyager's run through the solar system, and how everyone was losing their shit at discovery after discovery. I love it.

Looks like it streams on something called Hoopla or Kanopy, which is usually available with your local library card. Otherwise the usual rent/buy suspects Amazon, YouTube, google play.

Best (and worst part) of this trailer is Trump saying "the king firmly denied it, so it must have been rogue killers." Come the fuck on.

Ramen Heads - fantastic Japanese doc from a couple years ago that goes inside ramen culture and highlights some of the bigger names. Full thing is available on YT above, and I believe it’s on Hulu as well. Loved it

    Into music docs right now.

Watched "Echo From The Canyon" on Netflix -- really good if you like mid-60s California music. Jakob Dylan is the narrator and it's pretty cool to watch him interview these people (Byrds, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Mamas and Papas, Buffalo Springfield, Jackson Browne etc.)

Watching Hip Hop Evolution now, also on Netflix. Has 4 seasons of 4 eps each. Extremely good, and this is from someone who thought they already knew a good bit about hip hop history.

Got the Oasis one on Netflix queued up to watch soon.

What else? (Netflix, Hulu, Prime, HBO Max, Disney+)

    Oasis doc is really good

Sound City is another solid one.

Muscle Shoals is a great one

The Defiant Ones is really good

20 feet from stardom is good... talks about backup singers who never got compensated fairly, but had major roles in hit songs

The Lil Peep doc, Sound City, and Muscle Shoal docs are great music docs. Sound City touches on the Mama's and Papas like Echo in the Canyon.

Those and ones you've mentioned are by far my favs. I liked them better than any of the others I've watched. Didn't finish, but still kind of liked the ones about Rush, Eagles, George Harrison, John and Yoko.

Also, after Supersonic, if you liked it, Once in a Lifetime Sessions with Noel Gallagher is good for the bigger fans of their music.
