    Any Creatine Monohydrate would be fine.

    I think there’s only 4 factories in the US that produce creatine. It’s all the same just marketed and priced differently

    Do y’all worry about strength discrepancies between right and left side? It feels like my right side does a lot more of the work when benching and pressing. It’s not like the weight is only being lifted on one side or anything extreme, it just “feels” like my dominant side is taking over and my left side is just kinda assisting. Does that matter at all in the scheme of things? Should o be working on extra dumbbell work for my left side at all?

    To an extent, I think so. My concern would be that as you get heavier, you end up putting disproportionate stress in awkward places, which COULD make you susceptible to injury. Single arm work should help balance.

    Been doing more single arm pressing and lunges recently, definitely way stronger with right but attribute that to balance issues. Throwing and kicking right, have natural balance I don’t have the other way.

    i haven’t worked on my upper body imbalance, but lower body i started doing single leg stuff a few months back. my right leg takes over at times and my hip would be more sore because of the shift.

    Random question that I assume only capstone will know for sure but has anyone besides Benni deadlifted over 1000 raw without straps? Chris Weist seems to be very close and conventional

    Anyone got good protein powder recs? I used to really like Myoplex at 340 calories, 53g protein but looks like it has been discontinued.

    Are you a Costco member? I like the Optimum Nutrition and they go on sale periodically. They’ve got a vanilla and chocolate.

    i have been an Optimum Nutrition stan for a long time. sometimes i’ll take a deal from supplement hunt though they will have pretty big discounts on soon to expire proteins and supplements.

    Yes. I’ll look for that next time. I’ve been buying Musclepharm Combat at Costco, but don’t like it quite as much as the Myoplex.

    Working on a tub of Legion Whey+ (pricey, but taste is good) and BSN Syntha 6 whey. Both from Amazon.

    I’ll stick with Legion for my next tub.

    i stalled at the end of my block 2 months ago when i switched my second lift from landmine presses to z presses. i know it has nothing to do with the z presses, and probably need to work them into my week a different way.

    i've been doing lu raises a few times a week with light weights, and really like those.

    For me, it was just one of my 2-3-4-5 goals

    OHP - 2 plates (which happened to be my body weight)
    Bench - 3 plates
    Squat - 4 plates
    Deadlift - 5 plates

    I had set those as some personal goals before I started competing, just to have something to shoot for. It served it's purpose, but probably never again.

    those are basically what i had as my goals. although OHP is less than 2 plates. squat goal was double body weight for a while, but now i want 4 plates.

    Anyone have any good functional weight lifting programs?

    Not really sure what I'm looking for, but kind of want to change things up a bit. I'm having limited time right now so I'd like to maybe do 2 movements, then some mix of stretching/body movements. More of a general health thing vs list power/Oly lifting.

    Give me workouts of like 30-40 min then I'll prob do a separate cardio session at night.

    Feel like I'm almost going down a path of CX, but I don't want that :laugh:

    Def feel like I could break out lifts intelligently. Modified bro split type stuff. Don't know about the rest.

    Maybe I'll just go back to LA fitness where it all started and break out the chest/tri back/bi splits

    I can’t remember last time I’ve been sick but change of season fatigue kills me. Love having 4 seasons but for 1-2 days every time, my body just can’t function. Absolutely worthless today

    Where Eagles Dare I’m not using any sort of program but currently my training is leading off with two different compound lifts and then follow up with lighter accessory and core work often in supersets. I’ll vary the sets and reps for the first two compound lifts but generally something like

    Bench 5x5
    Deads 8, 5, 5, 3, 10
    Superset 4 rounds walking lunges, pull-ups, landmine hack squat 10 reps each
    Cool down, core work (planks, etc) and stretching
