Here, let me post it again. Where did I say in Atlanta? He needs a year as SP vs bouncing between leagues. Starting, made into long relief, then back to AAA etc
You’re posting in the Atlanta Braves thread so assuming anything else would be dumb. I do agree that he needs to stick to one spot but I think his command issues are too much to over come to be a starter. Tell him he’s a 1 inning guy going forward and see what happens.
He'll probably end up there or get traded. He's got too many good pitches to be a Pen arm. But it's not like he loses control after an inning. He's young and needs some time
I think he’s talented enough to start, but I’m just not sure it’s going to happen. Better to get him up and in the bullpen now.
Y’all see this vid on him? He even commented on it. No clue if I posted it back when it was first put out.
Anyone know who we are connected to on this list? Glad we are finally able to get back into the international market.
We’ll leave the exit velo stats to the heart of the order and let Ender keep setting the table in the leadoff spot. He’s baaaaack.
We know Snit’s gonna play him. Let’s hope his BABIP is at a career high otherwise he will return to being that black hole we all know him to be.
You want some "advanced metrics?" How about this: Ender has a 6.1 WAR over his last 1,739 plate appearances. Which is essentially the last 3 seasons worth of PAs. And for the old schoolers? Great news: he sure as hell passed the eye test in CF yesterday, he's the locker room presence we need, and he has an attractive girlfriend:
Ender can't make the post season roster b/c he sucks so fucking bad and snit is gonna run him out there 5 days a week for the first month of the season. It's known and I fucking hate Snit
Agree, it’s about time the miserable posters that only bitch and complain find a team that could help them overcome their personal shortcomings like the Yankees or the Dodgers.
I like how Ender fanfic has him going a solid but not spectacular 3 for 5 (albeit with two homers) and not getting laid
I'll be interested to see if Bryce can keep up the momentum he had towards the end of last year. 6IP 1H/1ER vs the dodgers in game 6 was a pretty solid cap to the season. What's annoying is I'm not sure he'll fit into the lineup or will get pushed out. Start the year we don't need a 5th pitcher until the 3rd time through the rotation. So 4 would probably be Max/Old Man/Ian/Shitty Lefty. Bryce in the Pen or AAA I guess. He'd only get starts if Soroka isn't ready the 3rd time through. Then he's not getting starts unless someone gets hurt. I know it's always good to have extra pitching, but damn it feels like we are wasting our capital. Ynoa, Tobias Favorite Kyle, Bryce all in AAA and we spent 12mm b/c he throws lefty
