Our new coaching candidates appear to be: 1) Micah Shrewsberry (Purdue asst) everyone else: Saddi Washington, Damon Stoudamire, Dennis Gates (Cleveland st) St Bonnie coach apparently interviewed and took his name out of contention. Shrewsberry appears the top option followed by Gates. No clue after that but the names have been real bad.
Gates has been one of the most popular names mentioned for the Gopher job when it becomes available. He's the highest risk of what is perceived to be our top tier of candidates (Gates, Craig Smith at Utah St., and Niko Medved at Colorado St.), but everything I've heard about him seems like he is a rising star. Cleveland State was a dumpster fire when he got there, and he got them to a conference title by his second season. I just wish he had a year or two more of experience to show that what he is doing is sustainable. Smith would be my top choice among that group, but I'd be relatively happy with any of the three.
Minnesota’s coach is out here owning social media. Indiana’s coach is on Facebook playing casino games probably
Really glad there's new faces on this team. The last 3-4 years have been insufferable with the previous ones.
I still think he's more likely to go pro than play for any college team next season. It's been the assumption all year long that last year would be his final season in college.
We’ve decided to take the next decade off from being competitive. No questions, please respect our decision.
Is there an off-season championship of some kind in this sport? November Naismith perhaps? We are very good at that.
Look, all the MSU posters show up once the slate has been wiped clean, kind of like their players criminal records. Bohannon is looking at coming back next year, we will gladly trade him for a new washing machine, and hoping Fran gets so mad he strokes out and has to retire for health reasons.
There the classic MSU hate I love. I bet you're as mad at me right now as Izzo was during the UCLA game heading into half, what a trash human being. Fits your fanbase perfectly.
The one year period where your team was relevant is over. Go back to the sex with farm animals/relatives threads.
Well I didn't know if you noticed we were relevant, you were hiding all year. I missed you little buddy, can't wait for football to heat back up I'm sure it'll be a real hoot of a time.
Juwan Howard has become the first B1G head coach named AP National Coach of the Year since 2005. Thank you in advance for your congratulatory messages and well wishes.
