Yeah, not sure what Darrell is doing. Cory makes sense — I’m sure him and Fessy made up. And Leroy seems like he’s willing to go scorched earth to finally win and views CT as the primary roadblock to do that. But he declared that to CT from the jump, so I don’t think CT cares about that. But Darrell’s angle is odd, because I don’t think BB is going to help him any more than the CT/Devin/Kyle side of the house.
I think everyone is scared of Fessy. They have got to do something about the big brother group. They dominate with numbers and are boring as shit.
They’ve successfully integrated the Big Brother social game into the Challenge and have been able to pull enough of the Challenge vets to seize control of the numbers. Usually the vets they pull are ones who haven’t been able to crack the game (Cory, Nelson, Nany, Aneesa, etc.), with Darrell being the exception. But they’re the most dominant social force since the JEK heyday. And CT, albeit a much-different CT, is the resistance again.
When you’re stuck together in the same place for as long as they are things like that get hashed out. It’s a lot easier to hold a grudge when you’re not constantly in the same space. But yeah, Cory isn’t smart.
If I’m a dude w a skull, I get w all the others who have a skull and conspire to match up people in the pit that don’t have them. They’ll just eliminate themselves and I get a ticket to the final
Yea I am just gonna be disappointed if Cory does not get retribution for what happened to Nelson. Obviously his endgame is to get money for all his offspring running around, but if I am in his position taking Fessy out of a position of power (which he currently is running the game alongside Kaycee) is righteous. And Im not sure when he thinks Josh, Fessy, Leroy et al are going to give him a chance to earn his skull. Those dudes are set and clearly not worried about him. Maybe he has confidence in winning a daily but half the show he's not had a partner.
Can’t really do that because they house vote is established before the double agents get to choose who to throw in. For example, if the house sent in Darrell, CT would audible and throw in one of the skulls to face him. So if you’re Josh, Leroy, Fessy, etc. there less risk to throw Devin under the bus than there is to try to game it in that way.
We will never know because they never show Darrell talking to anyone. Like how was he not confronted after the vote?
Agree with your bottom paragraph. No benefit to skull-less people joining an alliance where they are at the bottom of the totem pole.
I did the 7 (or 10, can't remember) day trial for CBS all-access and binged everything they had all week last week while working. They have back to season 12ish I believe
I think with Darrell it really just depends how close he is to CT. He doesn't have any ties to Kyle or Devin. Him and CT obviously go way back but are they actually friends? I couldn't imagine going on a show like this and not teaming up with someone I am IRL friends with. If he isn't close to CT I really don't see an issue with the BB alliance. ETA I am really hoping this security breach is something wild like a double elimination or an elimination vs someone not in the game.
Darrell and CT did not really ever interact in their past games. I have no idea what is going on with the security breach: For one, I think it will be a big nothing burger. But it would be cool if it was a big twist. I found it out that Devin was so excited and yelling "Let's Go!" That's a weird thing to yell prior to knowing what the news actually is. So if he is yelling that after the fact, it might be an interesting or helpful twist.
I think it’ll be a double elimination just to get the numbers equal on the male and female side. Who else will participate (Nam, Cory, someone else?) is the big question.
I don't think so, other than knowing about Darrell's wins. She can skim the Wiki Oh and maybe a reminder that Mark Long was a badass as well, in prep for the OG Games
Watching seasons 1-11 will give her an appreciation for TJ. Dave Mirra (RIP) and Jonny Moseley were terrible. Those seasons also showed them having a lot fun in the house which we never see anymore.
Maybe it's one of those dumb things where they have a challenge vs ex-players instead of vs each other
Going to be interesting to see what CT does if he wins. He absolutely needs to bail on Big T, both from a political and physical standpoint he doesn't gain anything staying with her. He should probably grab kaycee or kam
Pretty crazy to think how differently this season could have been had he not turned Kam down when they chose partners. Would have changed alliances entirely and the two of them would’ve been the clear front runners
I avoid reading the titles of episodes before I watch because sometimes there are strong hints at plot points. Calling last week's ep "An Inconvenient Goof" is just brilliant. Take a bow.
The Goof being gone is huge. Nany crying because Josh was gone, was humorous. C.T.'s reaction to getting Kam was odd. This next challenge looks wild.
Spoiler The whole CT losing his shit on Big T seemed like a total act. I can’t really understand why he would do it but it just seemed completely illogical.
He seemed drunk when he tried to woo her back at the fire and then just randomly dropped in the "Let's be real...you aren't ready to run a final".
It was like CT made a deal with the producers where they gave him a ton of power in the perfect situation and he would give them some over the top drama. Okay taking off my tinfoil hat.
RE: CT...the first thing that popped in my head was that he and Big T concocted it to be partners on Rivals IV, after they had already talked about him picking Kam. But sometimes people are just weird and act weird.
Either way he behaved weird....but, his chances at a ton of money also just increased dramatically by making the switch so I could see possibly getting caught up in the moment coming off the adrenaline of eliminating the Goof.
CT, for as much as we love him, has always been a POS. Stealing Cam was the right move to make if he actually wants to win TJ's final, but the way he went about it was some absolute psychopath shit. Big T is pretty easily the most likable person in the cast, and it was kinda heartbreaking to look at her during CT's theatrics. And lol at his "apology"
Was a high point when he got crushed. Sucks Devin fucked up a puzzle b/c that would've turned the numbers in the house
Devin would have chosen Kaycee or the Amber that hates him and would have provided plenty of entertainment
Devin would be super annoying to be around, but when you're able to get his commentary about himself on top of his antics, it's fucking amazing.
I always hated him before but he was great entertainment this season without Bananas. He might be the most self-aware person on the show, talks shit to Josh for missing on the helicopter challenge then embraces it for doing the same thing. I cracked up at his final interview ending with “classic Devin” after he lost to Darrell
