JP has been thinking about moving on from Auburn for a period of time. Has spoken with the coaching staff a few times during the past 48 hours. Auburn's hope (obviously) was that JP stayed here and at least one member of the staff is surprised to learn that JP actually is electing to leave — if he actually goes through with it. His medical situation really jarred him and dealing with that so far from home made it even worse. The prevailing idea was that JP would realize that, yeah, it was bad yet he worked through it and now he's good to go. He's an established member of a resurgent program. Ultimately, I don't think he sees it that way. So in that vein, you'd expect him to be looking at place likes U of L, Kentucky, Xavier — and not somewhere a long way away like Durham, N.C.
The team has one guy playing well on offense. Biggest surprise was how "good" we looked the previous 7 days after a month lay off. Really bad team this year, glad this season is over.
Yeah I think there might have been a little bit of a sugar high coming off the layoff. Would have been an ugly loss in your resume. But they crashed back to earth tonight.
Scottie Lewis and Tyree Appleby were late for shootaround and started the game on the bench, great leadership we've got this year!!!!!!!!!!
The problem is we play up and down to the competition. We locked you down for a half and made enough stops in the 2nd. Stop crying.
thought that was weak af but that weak ass offensive call on pinson when he had the blow by layup was a makeup
I had just started watching tho so no clue if there have been multiple shitty calls both ways (can only assume so #itjustmeansmore)
This has been a pretty well officiated game. They let them play all night and let them bang down low a lot.
Mizzou has to lead the nation in pissing away 2nd half double digit leads. This team is so frustrating.
2008 if memory serves. We had to win 2 games on the same day prior to the championship game because of a tornado In downtown Atlanta. The only cool thing Dennis Felton did.
That 3 pointer by Mykal Riley that sent the game into OT and probably saved quite a few lives and prevented a ton of injuries.
I was at that game. Flew out to Vegas the next day. I will never forget watching the game and realizing that the scoreboard was swaying back and forth during play.
that documentary was crazy. I didn’t realize how crucial that shot was. Could’ve really been really bad
