according to the poker thread barves won some money tonight and he's running wild now run free barves, run free
To be clear, I do not listen to whatever type of music that is. Saw it on YouTube's trending page and listened and was quite confused on what exactly that type of music is. Thank you.
All the indicators are there. Gimmicky image that attracts posers. Gothy/Occult rock sound. Simplistic riffs a 6 year old could play. Applies to Ghost or Bloody Hammers when you think about it
They sound like one of those generic hard rock metal bands that play on Sirius Octane channel. Garbage.
Congrats on Napalm Records being able to get a half million views on that shit. Maybe Century Media Records is interested in a Sundown comeback.
that Wilderun album from last year came up in my shuffle. my god, it's incredible. again. it's completely over-the-top and probably requires some kind of substance intake though fwiw. the tasteful guitar leads and solos
new Vektor song coming next week from their split EP with a band called Cryptosis. honestly Cryptosis is kind of wack. great playing, but the songs don't really work in the meantime
Vektor knockoff I've been listening to for the last month or so. I don't hate it, even though they have a terrible name.
I guess the good news is that it's for a one-off joint ep? I get that the high shriek vocals have a shelf life but his clean singing voice sounds like someone singing in their car on their way home from work
L.G. Petrov (Entombed) passed away at the age of 49. Cancer. Left Hand Path was a game changer for me
Damn. I knew he was really sick. LHP was super influential for so much of extreme metal. He left a great legacy.
Metalblade's twitch channel is streaming Amon Amarth wrath of the norsemen concert from 2005 right now
This might be an incredible year for metal when venues open again. Every "big" band is going to release an album and tour behind it relentlessly Bill Kelliher writing riffs in his basement for a year
discovered this band recently. Montreal-based black metal that combines that raw, lo-fi Darkthrone vibe with a healthy dose of melody.
I’ll have to check them out, I recognize the name. I’ve been listening to another Canadian band the last couple days, Wormwitch. Black metal/Blackened death band.
I have this record, it's excellent. They have some cool d-beat / punk influences. I get confused with all the "Spectral" bands: Spectral Lore (Greek black metal) Spectral Wound (Montreal black metal) Spectral Voice (Denver death/doom metal)
