He was a nobody sword guy. Probably became a clown in EP 6 or whatever and then faded to the background
A little underwhelmed at the finale and that's coming from somebody who doesn't actively look up theories for anything anymore. Still an amazing season of TV but it didn't quite hit like the few episodes before which was kind of disappointing for me. The white vision stuff was kind of weird. Their whole convo felt like batman vs superman "our moms have the same name let's be buds" thing. Marvel is better than that. Like others have said...Haywood was an all time bad character. Super pumped about Dr Strange 2 and to see where they go with SW
Also felt like the final post credit scene should have had a nod to Mephisto or Nightmare or wherever they go with that. I know the kids calling out her name is likely Mephisto but I wish it had been like a real reveal especially to grab the attention for a lot of more casual viewers who don't really know anything about the Dr Strange universe
There’s a lot of good speculation out there it’s Nightmare. Original DS2 Director said he wanted Nightmare, all the townspeople sharing Wanda’s nightmares every night, he would have gained a half his power back after everyone came back from the blip and be pissed, etc.
A lot of stuff out there that they will merge Nightmare and Mephisto together and just refer to it as Nightmare. China bans any media that can be considered occultist and Disney doesn’t want to risk that by using Mephisto as a character.
I've always been curious why a country like China who has adopted a policy of state atheism would be so adverse to occultist content...wouldn't you just think occultism and satanism and stuff like demons would be stupid and make believe?
The only theory I’m disappointed with not happening was Luis being the missing person in witness protection that Woo was initially looking for
Is there a theory out there on Dottie, other than just being a character to throw off others? She is the socialite who cut her hand in the black and white episode. She reappeared in the finale talking about the town’s children again, saying her 8 year old could be friends with Wanda’s kids, and that Wanda was keeping her child locked up. In the credits, she was identified as Sarah Proctor, who was one of the original Salem witches in real life history.
I get that they wanted to keep everyone guessing about Mephisto or Nightmare throughout the series, but the re-introduction as a Salem witch in the final episode seems unusual if it’s a dead end. Agatha is going to get free and the kids are coming back at some point.
The multiverse Quicksilver turned into a boner joke, Dottie ain't significant, people need to accept that.
Imo: Wanda turns full villain (might even be the next big bad), returns to Agatha for last bits of info and then kills her in DS2.
My guess is that she ends up unleashing something that she does not know/understand and she turns to Agatha for help/information. After Wanda went full Scarlett Witch Agatha told her you have no idea what you have done, I think they’ll pay that off in DS2.
Again, i was criticizing the decision by the producers for including that and Monica’s weird line about “they’ll never know what you gave up for them.” I think they would have preferred not to have been kidnapped and subjected to trauma for multiple weeks
On the last few pages: man all the theories we made didn’t happen and the ending was a let down also on the last few pages: more theories on the upcoming DS movie and Wandas future loved the show. Kinda glad I don’t know shit about fuck to even make theories for the MCU
Funny to realize the level of trolling that Feige enjoys. He had to have known the level of speculation/nerdiness that was gonna come out in between episodes.
Random thought. I’m doing a run through of the newer James Bond movies with the bff because she hasn’t seen any. In Spectre, Bond goes to a cabin way out in the middle of nowhere that looks like the cabin at the end of the last episode. The outside of the cabin looks different but the surroundings looks similar.
Just pointing out it looks like they reused the same scene/CGI/graphics whatever you want to call it with a few tweaks. I prefaced it as a random though. Damn you.
