It worked pretty well last year I don't want to sign Suh and Wallace like free agent deals but it'd be nice to have a couple mid tier guys like Marvin Jones or Curtis Samuel
So working theory is that signing Butler and Coleman means X and Wilkins could be part of Watson trade package???
Yea I misread, Hudson and a 7th for a 3rd. Got the late round pick on the wrong side of the equation.
Would really prefer somebody with some experience Don’t want to be forced putting faith in dudes that are made of glass any more
Baltimore Ravens center Matt Skura has been benched after two straight games of bad snaps, a source confirmed Sunday. Patrick Mekari, who made five starts last season after Skura suffered a season-ending knee injury, will start at center for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans Was one of the worst Cs in the NFL last season
I don't understand. We talk all last season about having cap room and these are the moves we make. We seem terrified to spend anything and only want to shed
It’s a 1 year deal so id imagine it’s a backup plan if we can’t get Humphrey or Dickerson in the draft
Have made a bunch of low cost, head scratching signing and Watson is now a rapist. Talk about a 180 of an off-season compared to a month ago
Between the two co-OC's, the way free agency is being handled, and early returns of taking Tua over Herbert, please tell me why I should feel good about Grier's ability to address needs? He egregiously neglected the RB position in the draft next year when it was obvious to everyone that there were good options available (Swift, Dobbins and Akers in particular) and still passed. What makes anyone think he's going to draft 2-3 impact receivers?
Everything I’ve seen is that the fins got sniped right before their pick a few times during the draft. Ex they were going to take Dobbins at 56 and got sniped by the ravens at 55 which completely caught them off guard. Now the question is why not use that earlier 2nd on a RB? Idk and that’s a huge miss. Hunt was solid, but Johnathan Taylor looks like a monster.
Or simply trade up a few spots. When the 3 OTs went off the board, we should have trade up 3-5 spots iirc and grabbed Wirfs instead of panic picking sorry Austin Jackson
This. It kinda looks like Danny Ainge and the Celtics. All people talked about was how many picks and assets Ainge had accumulated but he never used them to make any big move and now he's on the hot seat. Use some of those extra picks and go get a Wirfs like you said.
And we have plenty of picks in this draft as well guess I’m in the minority but I’m not ready after year 1 to say our draft last year was a disaster, we won’t get any playmakers in this draft and we need to fire Grier
This was the problem. Bucs were locked in on Wirfs and the only other trade up option was LVR who was locked in on Lamb.
I think the concern is that everything so far has been minor. They cut KVN to create more space and haven't done anything with it.
