well you mf'ers convinced me to check this out. got through about 1.5 hours tonight and...yeah, im a fan which is just shocking for me to say. hated nearly every dceu movie and have not liked a zack snyder movie since the first time i saw 300, but i'm really enjoying this movie. pretty incredible how awful they made the original JL
TIL Zack was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin I haven't kept up with all of DC, I do believe that they should have never taken this movie away from him
I believe that was one of the new scenes he filmed. You can tell out thin Batfleck is. He’s off the sauce.
is it easy to break up the viewing? the lead-up said there were chapters. are those distinct so i could watch a couple of chapters at a time?
He could’ve just updated the movie to include the new Cyborg stuff and introducing the Darkseid piece as the motivation for Steppenwolf and stopped there and it would’ve been a major improvement.
Really understand Fishers complaints. He made the movie. Whedon had him come off as some bitter character with no real redeeming qualities. It was better in every way imaginable
Holy shit this was great. WB has to see the millions and millions of dollars they’d lose not letting him do a sequel right? RIGHT???!!
THIS. SO MUCH THIS. The more I think about it, the more I wish this was like an annual or Bi-Annual event for HBO. 4-6 hours of fucking A-List actors in Justice League adventures like this??? That would bring in SOOO much money. (Especially since GOT is dead... they need another cash-cow to keep the subscriptions going) sign me up for more Snyder Justice League please.
He became a big part of the league in the comics and animated series. He was on the tv show, Supergirl.
They need to get a Feige type and stay the fuck away after that. The WB execs can’t stop stepping on their own dicks.
Again, the WB execs wanted to cut the no mans land scene from WWI, the fact that movie was even decent must be a fucking miracle
Give Snyder all the monies and just keep the sequel (s?) on HBO. Still can’t believe this was what Snyder envisioned. Also, after credits scene with Joker is so good IMO.
I broke it up pretty easily. Think I watched the first hour and a half or so then stopped and had dinner and watched some cobra kai with the wife. Finished it up after that.
It was much better than I thought that it would be, I still have a few issues with it but it was overall an 8. I cant believe WB fucked up his original vision and I need a Cyborg solo and a sequel announced ASAP. Also they need to remove Walter Himada and boot Johns as far the fuck away as they can.
Spoiler Not sure if we're spoilering, but Manhunter, Atom, and The Spectre character were the cameos, right? I always look at name tags, and the guard at the end was named Nelson like one of the Dr. Fates, but I am not sure if there were others.
I legit got mad whenever I saw scenes that directly tied into Whedon and how much better the Snyder versions are.
