don’t have the multi TV set up going yet, but I’m very thankful for the YouTubeTV custom lineup option this weekend
Yeah you have to do it on your computer (edit: or mobile app). if doing it online, Tv.YouTube.com and go to settings. There’s a lineup option in there and you can move things around. If you want to move something to the top, click on the 3 dots next to the channel and select “move to top”. Then when you get back to tv, make sure you’ve selected custom channel lineup
Thanks guys. We watch like 5 channels so going to move them all up. I don't see an option to move the MLB.tv channels to the bottom though. They don't show on my live guide in my app setting at all. When games are on, there's like 15 of them to scroll past.
Idk this is what mine looks like. Maybe it’s different if you’re subscribed to the actual plan through YouTube tv?
A quick Google tells me it's a $300 Android based "TV box" for cord cutters. What most people would use it for is a handy way to download certain apps and such that would maybe or maybe not allow someone to watch illegal streams of copyrighted TV content. Now my turn for a question....how and why did you acquire without knowing what it was?
I didn’t. My daughter’s fiancé did and she asked me if I knew anything about it so I figured I’d ask the cord cutter thread which I thought was the appropriate thread to ask. I’ll just lie about stealing content.
Your daughters fiancee wants to illegally download movies. As long as he doesn't upload/download in large quantities then he should be fine. If you have an issue with him doing it you can either tell him not to or you'll kill him, or you could just share your Netflix, Prime, etc...passwords.
I think she asked me before they opened the box and realized it was pretty straight forward. My question was also if anyone itt had any experience with one. I have no issue with getting over on the man. Fuck the man.
cool I taught her well literally nothing I hate more than rings on tables. Use a fucking coaster you fucks.
These baseball team channels that pop up at bottom YTTV channel lineup, are they some sort of preview or something? I have a blue Jays, braves, rays, and Phillies channel right now. Assuming because they are spring training games near me?
i believe those are from mlb.tv. they're doing a free preview through tuesday. same thing happend when they had a free preview of NBA League Pass https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-tv-spring-training-games-free-through-tuesday
still can't get them on YTTV or Hulu, but figured I'd share. Fox Sports RSNs are now Bally Sports - How to Stream Them Spoiler Fox Sports RSNs are now Bally Sports - How to Stream Them MAR 31, 2021, 5:33 AM PDT – Jeff Kotuby Today’s the big day! Starting today, all Sinclair-owned FOX RSNs are officially now branded under the Bally Sports umbrella. Here’s a handy cheat sheet to get you caught up on everything happening with this deal. What is Happening with Fox Sports RSNs, Sinclair, and Bally’s? Back in November, media conglomerate Sinclair and gaming company Bally reached a 10-year agreement to rebrand the former’s regional sports networks to feature the Bally Sports brand. The move will integrate Bally’s content on the Sinclair-owned RSNs as well as other Sinclair owned properties, like Stadium and Tennis Channel. Obviously, this is all part of a greater push to capitalize on the massive sports gambling market. As more states legalize sports betting, Bally’s wants in on the action (figuratively and literally) and what better way to gain access to hungry sports bettors than by having your own branded TV stations? What Does This Mean for my Existing Subscription? If you’re a YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, Dish Network, or Sling TV customer, you’ve already lost your Fox Sports RSNs, YES Network, and Marquee Sports Network so you need to be looking for a new live TV streaming service if you wanted to watch these channels. What Are My Best Options to Watch? (buy-link: att-tv text: AT&T TV Choice Plan ($84.99 a month) is the only option that will allow you to watch every single Sinclair-owned RSN including Bally Sports, YES, and Marquee. Check out our comprehensive guide for more details on how to watch your local RSN without cable or satellite subscription. Sign Up $84.99 / mo.att.com/tv If you have access to Bally Sports RSNs through your cable, satellite, or streaming provider – you will also have access to the new Bally Sports App with your TV Everywhere credentials. Does Bally Sports App Have a Direct-to-Consumer Service? At the moment, as long as you have access to the former Fox Sports RSNs, you don’t need to sign up for anything else. Bally’s and Sinclair have bandied about the idea of adirect-to-consumer service expected to launch in 2022, but for now you need AT&T TV if you don’t have cable. How About Other RSNs? Other live TV streaming services like fuboTV, Hulu Live TV, and YouTube TV will allow you to watch certain RSNs, like SportsNet NY (NY Mets), NESN (Boston Red Sox), and NBC Sports RSNs. Ok one complaint with YTTV, maybe someone can help me. I added on the MLB package but the channels are just kinda randomly added throughout my guide. When I go to setting in app and try to do a custom list, the MLB channels don't show, even when a game is on. I'd like to put the Yankees broadcast always at the top and everything else at the bottoms instead of having to hunt the Yankees game every night.
I'm doing it on my phone. I get MLB Network and MLB Alternative but no team specific options or games listed.
Is MLB Alternate the live games? If so I can put them at the bottom. Just get annoyed having to scroll past 20 channels of games I'll never watch.
Don't know what started happening but had Chromecast with Google TV started to lose WIFI connection and then reconnect, never enough to have it freeze but kept getting notification of it on the screen. I don't lose WIFI on any other device - so I bought some firesticks and no issues - although the MLB app keeps crashing
QVC pretty high in your pecking order there. Lotta buying random shit going on in the dbl household? I don't even have it selected to show for me as a channel.
In the app where you could move them? They are on my TV guide, just not in the app for me to move them around.
Yeah, I went into the app to bump the NCAA basketball channels up and was wondering why tf I had a braves channel, and a Yankees channel, etc.
Switched to ATTTV. interface is ok. Exiting out of a game and going back always starts the game at the beginning(no “resume from last watch” option). Can’t cast something on chromecast from DVR. but works well on Roku tv. I’d prefer YTTV for sure but at least I can watch the Twins.
Looks like YT has a lot more channels now than when it first started. I've browsed the thread and haven't seen many regrets. Any thoughts on what the minimum speed would be to stream 3 rooms? I have 200/10 now, but that tends to fluctuate throughout the day.
The diagnostics on screen can show you what each stream is pulling, but 20mbps per stream is a conservative calculation, meaning you have plenty of headroom on a 200 download connection.
We still have YTTV, and don't regret it...and yes they've added a ton of channels that I never watch. They're more and more like cable every day! Still no regerts.
If I didn’t let my mom use my YouTube TV password, I’d switch back to regular cable. It’s cheaper and I’d be able to watch baseball
Figured this out. There's one MLB.tv channel in the above list. Move it to the bottom and all MLB.tv games go there.
Maybe it’s just a yttv quirk, but dblplay1212 do you have tricky finding all teams channels in the guide? I was trying to watch the Padres game last night and could not find the Padres channel until I clicked all the way to the mlb.tv add on page, selected teams, Padres, the found our home broadcast. Similar thing happening today. Not every team is there
I don't run into this because I don't have the mlb.tv add on but I'm guessing the easiest way to find whatever team/game you're looking for might just be the search which is super quick and easy.
yeah i thought about that but it still only brings up one of the teams broadcasts. very strange and annoying...
