I paid $129 so that was retail. I cracked it last night and tasted the 11 and 12, both very enjoyable. Need to let the 12 air a bit now.

If I needed a bottle of Blanton's how would you advise I find one? I realize I will be paying over retail, a friend is dogsitting for us and won't take money but really wants a bottle.

 

Good deal, usually $29 here. It’s a good drinker too. Can use it in a cocktail or sip it neat.

Don't worry about that. Was hoping I could find one of the facebook marketplaces. The ones I am in all seem to be dead. This bottle should cost in the 120-150 range based on my quick research.

1792 full proof is such a good value at $45... drinks a little hotter than other barrel proofs, but it’s such a good sweet/rye/oak balance.

I'd most definitely buy Shenk's and Bombergers at those prices and ask for better pricing since I'm taking both. But then again I'm filthy rich.

edit - I know nothing about Michters other than I see that bottle on the secondary for like double that...

They deliver from stores in your area - unfortunately it’s a bit of a gamble how well their Network is in a particular city.

there are some sites that started off for scotch (flaviar / caskers) but their selections aren’t the best and they charge a hefty markup plus exorbitant shipping costs.
