exactly this. It’s not what we have done, it’s what we haven’t done. The C signing makes little sense but it’s not going to kill us.
I’m sorry buddy but I’m not giving any credence to a company who just labeled dan Mullen their national coach of the year
I really like the skura signing. Also, this is what building your team through the draft looks like. They are going to work to develop people in the house as much as possible.
maybe we get a full season out of him and DVP’s combined games played In all seriousness not the guy fake GM Leonard would have signed but a step in the right direction. He certainly brings an element we don’t have to the O when he plays
you and me both. Had him in fantasy last season, he was great but also on roids. We just needs more speed and he definitely gives us that. Should be motivated to play as many games as possible on a 1 year deal too. I've talked myself into it- SUPER BOWL CONFIRMED
Maybe RB in the later rounds? Who the hell knows, guess it depends on how much they’re spending on Carson. But you atleast didn’t give Brown a huge deal if you have a good RB fall to you in the 2nd or 3rd
If they don't take a RB by the end of the 2nd round, I'm gonna be pretty pissed. I never said I was disappointed. I just wanted to know what the plan was with the cap space they do have. Now it's starting to take shape. Fuller on a 1 year show me deal is solid. Another Watson teammate.
When he’s healthy he gives us something we need big time and was the best option this year to provide it. It doesn’t work out it’s a 1 year deal, not like we were spending the money elsewhere. I love every part of this but I’m also admittedly a huge Fuller fan
All fair, except it’s a $10m deal this year. We could roll that money over if we didn’t use it. He is good when he plays, but he’s got a game of suspension to serve and always misses games. The best ability is availability and all
Doesn’t matter if he’s not on the field. I hope he stays healthy, because he is great if he’s healthy. I’m just not thrilled about the odds.
Let’s make a wager then, I say he plays more than 10 games, winner becomes the richest duck in Duckburg
I mean the guy has played 11 games the last 2 years And he missed the last 5 games due to a suspension meanwhile our #2 has only played in 8 games each of the last 2 years what are we complaining about on a 1 year deal
Samuel didn’t get much more per year and is a more consistently available player. Wish if we we going to go in this much we would have pushed harder for him. It’s encouraging that Fuller is coming off his best season, but he was also popped for PEDs. Not going to argue he’s not an upgrade when he’s out there, I just wish his odds of being out there were better.
I like the Skura gamble because outside of a major injury that he returned and played well after, he’s got a 2 game bad sample size of snapping the ball. He’s costing us less than 2m. we pick swapped 7th rd picks to see if we can Get Wilson to play like a first round talent again and the Titans paid a lot of his signing bonus dollars already. $10m for fuller to hopefully be available for 15 games and contribute is a bigger gamble when we’ve already made some gambles with other moves. It’s better than not doing anything, but I’d have rather paid a little more to Samuel, or thrown considerably less at someone like Hilton, John brown, or John Ross
While I agree that Pitts is not a traditional TE, his blocking is shit, you don't draft a 1st round TE because of their blocking skills. Well dave wannstedt would... But that's beside the point.
