Sooo, you can’t watch from the beginning of the PPV on Peacock? Tried starting a little late and could only watch Live. Then no pause during the show? Weird. Was ok with Fiend’s mask but the outfit was meh.
He and Gargano had the best match i've ever seen live. It was one of the best matches I have ever seen period. Hope he and Omega crush it in AEW
I really love Alister so I hope he actually gets to wrestle somewhere soon. I'm a bit surprised HHH wouldn't want Almas or Alister in NXT. Those guys are amazing
Black would automatically be like the tallest non Paul Wight guy in AEW. edit: I take that back. Apparently he's only 6'0. That can't be right. I seem to recall him being long and lanky.
He put Lana through a table for two straight months after Ryder signed with AEW. He is such a petty bitch.
Hopefully aew books him better than they have booked Rusev.... Also there is a bullshit Charlotte story going around that makes no sense to me so i think that's bogus. Basically claiming Charlotte agreed to sit out Mania if it meant Andrade could get his release. Why would Vince, who books Charlotte to win everything, ask her to sit out Mania in order to release Andrade? But if it's true, it's a win win. Break from Charlotte winning and gets Andrade to somewhere he can potentially do a lot better for himself
I could see her saying she wouldn't do Mania if he didn't get his release. But why would she not want to be a part of mania?
So this entire Shane/Braun fued is just to Shane can jump off the pirate ship at wrestlemania isn’t it?
Vince on Wrestlemania: https://www.fightful.com/wrestling/...l Wrestling News&utm_campaign=dlvr.it.organic Current era WWE in summary.
I've never really got the hatred of the Bucks. They don't work stiff, they don't hurt people, Matt sells his ass off, Nick is one of the best hot tags in wrestling....never understood the hate.
I think their issue is they live to troll people, which was great at their pre AEW level. Once they went mainstream, people weren’t in on the joke and the Bucks got real pissy about how they were treated. They left social media in a huff, which was a real bad look considering their past.
They are whiney in every promo, they try to act intimidating even though Nick has the body of a 9th grader. They can't figure out quite how to chew bubble gum.
Damn the AEW and impact angle really fizzled. Omega was on Impact and only drew 116k, their lowest amount of viewers this year. More people watched Cornette's YouTube response to Miro
Yeah, they need to scrap it. AEW has no business doing anything with Impact anyways. If they are going to cross promote, they need to do it with NJPW. I do wonder if The Good Brothers are now just moving to AEW? Would explain them suddenly losing the tag titles.
NXT slightly rebounded from last week's collapse, but still not good ratings wise. AEW dipped even a little more to .757. This "war" is going to end with a whimper
AEW’s seemingly lost much of their female audience since The Challenge returned. Curious if they bounce back when that ends.
Idk but I remember people itt saying they'd consistently rival raw and smackdown soon and hit over a million consistently this year. SD just almost tripled their rating going against the ncaa tournament, and raw is still sitting at 1.8, so well over doubled the ratings despite what shit they put out. I think these wars are just a reminder that hard-core wrestling fans are just a niche market and they are never going to touch what wwe does.
I always find the ratings to be weird. NXT has put on fantastic TV the last 6 weeks and see's its drop. AEW has put on some amazing matches but largely meh TV and its holding firm.
I think AEW has a loyal fan base that stays pretty steady. Put shaq on the show or debut someone new may get a little pop before back to normal. So they won't have huge dropoffs nxt does, but they have been completely unable to add new fans
