the latitude 33 blood Orange is one of my old favorites from home. Haven’t had One in years and it tasted so good on this 65 degree day. This almanac is quite refreshing as well. Nothing earth shattering, but really good.
My grocery store has 4 packs of Toppling Goliath Pompeii for half price but the canning date was late November with a "best by" date on thebox of 3/31. I bought it but we'll see how it tastes. $5.99 I couldn't pass it up.
Spent all day Friday at Spindletap to watch the NCAA tourney. Just recovered enough today to have a juiceton while smoking some quarters.
I don’t post itt much but I have a quick question. I have some doghead fish 120 minutes. Is there too long of an aging process with them? I think I’ve had my 4 pack about 3-4 years now. I’ve had them in a cool dark place for all that time. I kinda forgot about them now I’m wondering if I fucked up or if I should wait a little longer.
I think those bitches can age forever. I've never had one personally, but I know most people age them quite a while.
How can I get my hands on Russian River Brewing's Pliny the Elder here in Florida? Can I go to Total Wine and ask them to order a case or something? Or just impossible? If impossible, why don't some of these breweries expand their distribution?
The more “available” a brand is often times the less sought after it becomes. Very few brands these days last consistently outside their home market. RR could conceivably be an exception but there’s there’s definitely something to staying “small” and owning ur home market and not relying on multi state distribution as part of your model. Distribution is also one of the least profitable things a brewery does in terms of margin, so they often want to focus on bringing people to their taproom(s)
They don't distribute in Florida. you would need to have someone send you beer from CA/CO, or Philly.
Feel like it’s becoming a Friday tradition. Spindletap brewery with a Smokey cheeks pizza and Diamonds in my Mouth
It was amazing. They are legit one of the best pizza places in Houston and they do an outstanding job with all of the smoked meats they use. The beef cheeks were perfectly smoked
Aside from being way too expensive, BCBS is still the readily available king. I drink a shit ton of BA stouts and very few come close.
Big anniversary month for the LA breweries. Anniversary beers from Casa Agria, Monkish, Highland Park, and Brouwerij West
Cliffs: if it is made in Chicago, it's probably decent, if it is made at an AB brewery it probably sucks.
