Seems like the main problem is it is an under the counter microwave so I have to uninstall the whole fucking thing. I did see a few reviews where you have to take the entire side off.
Gents, we had a morning. My wife got locked in the potty. We had to take the door off the goddamn frame. It looks like the metal pin that connects the two handles is warped and won't come out. If it doesn't slide out, how in the world can you replace the latch?
Is it just a matter of beating it with a hammer until something inside breaks? That seems to work for most of my life's problems
it would be hard for me not to leave my wife in there for a few hours while I acted like I was trying to find a solution
It probably would have been more fun if I didn't have a 2 year old trying to help and/or prison break himself.
Probably hurt the chances of putting your penis through the hole and asking for the wife's help with it. Too
I think I have the options that I will try. In order: 1. Sawzall (if I can fit a blade in) 2. Drill that bitch 3. Use a muffin
My bad. Sure looks like steel skin with applied wood trim. You can't get the square latch drive out? Hard to imagine (not impossible) that a shot of WD40 wouldn't free it up to slide in one direction or another. Don't beat on it too hard, or you'll mangle the latchplate end. Maybe push the latch in while trying to pull the drive out? Those things are pretty solid, so I'd try everything before attempting to cut it.
I got it...there was a rubber stopper on the other side that I removed and that side wasn't warped. I feel like we accomplished this as a team. Now to put a solid 10 foot door back on the frame with a very pregnant wife
Pick up some carburetor cleaner from Napa or Autozone and that may help clean out the carb if the gas has gummed up in there. I have a relatively new mower and left it sitting over the winter the first year and it was a pain in the ass to get running. I ended up taking the filter off, spraying the carb cleaner directly into the engine as I started it to get it going long enough to push the shitty gas out of the engine. Worst case scenario is you take the carb apart and clean it out. It probably isn't going to be that difficult.
Riddle time: When can you be the biggest winner and the biggest loser at the same time? Answer: When you win a bidding war in this stupid fucking market. But now it's time to be a seller. I can't wait to ask for a handy from all adult age occupants as part of the contingencies
Welp started my afternoon off washing the best frands car and mine. Started drinking a beer then sprayed the carport a little with the pressure washer. Hour or 2 later
Just got done with the whole remodel and putting it on the market https://www.redfin.com/MD/Brooklyn-Park/228-Townsend-Ave-21225/home/10392075
We really just liked the color scheme and the jerseys in the family room just seemed to bring the whole house together.
Not sure if it helps, but I try to make it clear that I maintain my stuff - clean air filters, oil squeaky hinges, scan unused rooms and the attic for things that can be patched up. We noticed a baseboard had fallen off in the corner of a room we don't use much, for example
Question for those smarter than me, which is most everyone in here. As I posted before the plan is to build an outdoor kitchen. That plan was supposed to be in the future but timeframe has moved up. Latest idea is to build something with that kind of footprint. Questions for the thread 1. Can is sit on the existing tiles or do they need to be taken out? 2. South FL by the ocean, lots of rain, uncovered, Roof, or awning? 3. Would it be best against the wall or against the screen side? Planning on putting my BGE, a gas grill, and a refrigerator in there
Quick hip fire answers. 1. You could probably get away with it on top of that tile. 2. I would probably want cover over that area and the have the rest open. 3. I would probably do as you show to leave is more open flow wise. Edit. Yeah Connor Norman is probably right with that, so maybe a 90deg flip to the outside edge?
1. I’d think you want to lift them. If there’s and issue in the future it may make it easier. 2. Ruff 3. Screen
Spoke to soon on the cabinets. After the first coat everything was looking great. They did touch ups and it came out extremely shiny. They repainted and it seemed to be okay, then touch ups again shiny. Then a complete and total repaint of all of them, shiny. Now they bought a different brand and while not shiny very streaky and unacceptable. We'd probably be completely done by today if not for this. At this point I'll be happy if they're done by Friday.
Yea cover it if you get a lot of rain. Water ruins everything. I think you are in Florida so I can imagine the daily afternoon showers are a pain to clean and cover. I would do it away from the house so I can get some bar type seating and put a TV up against the house.
