bertwing looking for 2 tickets for my dad and I if you talk to anybody with extra. Will buy some on stubhub or something tomorrow at some point but not seeing any for lower level along the side of the court, just behind the goals
Man I’m not having any luck and I don’t think there are any lower level for anyone other than the ones they give to family of players/coaches. There was hardly anyone in lower bowl
Question for those more observant than me, has Muss worn a “Slobberin Hog” polo for every game of the Tourney this year? Last nights was obviously one and I think the first game he wore one but couldn’t remember other games.
In a “what might have been” moment, could you imagine this team with Mason Jones and Isaiah Joe had stayed for this season.
Bracket is looking pretty good with taking Arkansas and Houston to the final 4. Arkansas winning it all of course.
I’m hurting bigly but the show must go on and I’ll power through. Thank you for your T’s and P’s and if you want to sponsor my beer drinking I’m ok with that too
Section 429 for the game lets goooo. Not great tickets but lower level court side is nonexistent due to covid
I was just looking back through our rosters for the last 10 years and it is amazing how much talent we wasted. Just wondering what Muss could have done with any of these teams. https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/schools/arkansas/2021.html You can click back by year and look at the rosters.
I found a couple tickets closer so I’m selling my old ones. Two tickets in section 429 row 10. I paid $223 apiece after tax, let me know if you want them
So I know that HY was circulating plans for an upgrade and renovation to Bud Walton. I anticipate that Covid put the brakes on that pretty hard, however after this run in the tourney, I have to expect HY is making calls raising money for an extension for Muss and upgrades to the facilities. Better strike while the iron is hot.
You know I wanted us to win last night but we overachieved so much this season and even I can recognize that Baylor is a damn good team. This loss didn’t hurt me like some in the past. However, with impending move to NE Oklahoma, I have to say I’m super excited about seeing our basketball team play in the future. Again, give HY all kinds of credit for having the entire enterprise largely going in the right direction right now. It’s like we’ve finally walked out of the shadows. #wps
Yeah I couldn’t find shit there all week other than a couple Arkansas masks. We easily had the biggest following there of any fanbase, was pretty cool to see that again and confirms how starved we’ve been for a run like that
I’d be shocked if he considered leaving. He’s going to be relied on heavily. No shit I saw him make like 20 straight threes shooting off of one foot while wearing that walking boot before the Baylor game. Crowd started getting a little excited. Also wouldn’t be surprised if something happens with Notae. Could be wrong on that one, just a hunch though.
Posted in another thread, but does Arkansas get the NCAA fallout that Indiana did with all of the anti-lgbtq laws being passed?
Yea I am going to keep spamming the thread today. If you haven't watched Muss' post season presser, its great. I love the way he interacts with Bob Holt at times. If you have any question about EM's work ethic, watch this segment, it talks about how they landed at like 11 yesterday and then did 3 zoom meetings, its assumed to mean with transfer targets. It starts about 28 minutes in.
Hey thoughts on everyone trying to get together for a football game this fall assuming there are some capacity constraints lifted? Since I’ve moved closer to the motherland, I can make it to games a lot easier now.
Was really sad to hear that he passed. Know he had a bad experience in BWA but glad to see our staff reached out to honor his memory. Way too young
We are looking to be in pretty good shape for Stanley Umude of South Dakota as well who was down to us and Kansas, but with the Kansas assistant that was recruiting him getting hired by Beard at Texas... things have fallen off there.
It seems pretty timely with transfer announcements and new commits being released. Did Desi announce bc of Toney or bc of Lykes? Is Henderson transferring bc of the SD kid? It’s an interesting situation.
Desi announced because his playing time was basically reduced to zero bc of the emergence of Devo, and he didn’t practice hard enough. Have to remember he’s a kid who has basically quit/retired on social media before quickly deleting the posts the last two years. He also showed what he felt with several of his posts after announcing his transfer. He’s just different. Lykes is a Sills replacement, Toney is a Smith replacement. Umude is a Moody replacement if that comes to fruition
Is he really a one and done? Seems like a reach, but I didn't watch all of his games. I know he faded into the background in the tournys.
His potential is off the charts. He absolutely faded at the end of the tourney but I think a lot of that was due to defenses keying on him forcing others to beat us. Plus I think there was some fatigue there as well.
