    Really no bad point. Just try to plan as being as mentally prepared as possible.

    Although the days I randomly decided to do it I have done better.

    I don’t see any harm in doing the test. It smokes everyone, beginner and expert alike. Plus, it’s really the only way to make the PZ classes tailored to your abilities.

    I did Wilpers most recent 15 min warm up and test two weeks ago and I thought he coaches it way better then the first one with Dennis that they have in the program.

    Wilpers is definitely becoming one of my favorite instructors now that I’m doing some power zone rides.

    Wilpers is a great “teacher”.

    Peloton pissed me off this morning. Started a 60 minute HMC ride. 15 minutes in it just stopped. Clicked on the bottom of the screen where it says “you currently have a class in secession” but it wanted to start over so I ended up doing two different classes because I wanted to be done before the games started. After my workout went to check my stats and for some fucking reason the 15 minutes and close to 5 miles where gone. FML

    I can see how frustrating that would be. I had kind of a similar thing the other day where I started a workout on my watch but it didn’t actually start and I didn’t notice it until about 45 minutes in. I was pissed like you at first, but came to the realization that we all get so caught up in the metrics that we forget our bodies still did the work. That’s what ultimately matters.

    Been a strong month. For a while there I shifted to shorter but more intense rides and now getting into a more balanced routine where my endurance rides are back where they were (45+ minutes).

    Such an awesome purchase. Hoping to do some renovations sometime soon and get the Tread+.

    10 away from 100. Kinda want to do a live ride with Wilpers, but all his are early mornings.

    It kinda snuck up on me because I’ve been like 2 rides a day no that I’m doing cool down rides.

    Edit: looks like I’m going to try for 100 being Wilpers 60min PZ at 7:30 am Saturday. Fuck that’s early.

    I feel like there aren’t a ton of milestone shoutouts anymore because the community is so big. I say find a ride or time that works best for you/your abilities and goals instead going 80% in the hopes of getting a shoutout that may not happen.

    Got the bike Jan 20, ride #50 complete. Happy with that.

    Need to come up with a new challenge. I might try to push my FTP up over the course of a month. I have my base done but that was a while ago now. I figure I try and get another test done pre Easter and shoot for Memorial weekend for my improvement. Tricky trying to figure out a realistic improvement goal.

    On Wilpers website their used to be programs you could do. However that may all be in the power zone pack now.

    I typically just do my own when I am focused on it. Try and do one max ride or similar, 2-3 power zone rides and then 1-2 endurance rides.

    I don’t think you really want to find it lol.

    But in all honesty here is the website:

    There was some drama around it as they worked with Wilpers to design programs and he used to give the group endorsements.

    They then started charging their own fee ($60 annually I think but probably higher now) and Peloton shut down endorsing that real quick.

    Overall there is a free option and you can just get the list of rides and do the programs or you can participate in the challenges.

    I noticed a new feature on Strava. Now if you do a Sessions ride all the people who you rode with will be shown on the ride details page in the Strava app.

    251 miles this month. I think I kinda like this. I am a huge fan of the miles challenge/tracking.

    I am always guilty at the end of a ride of trying to get into the Top X where X is always a different number that I’m already near. Like if I’m 23,000 out of 50,000 I’m thinking to myself “Gotta get to 22,000!!!”

    I have a friend who got so into it with his college buddies that one of them gave himself migraines and they all had to unfollow each other

    As I stated in the elite eight thread I hadn’t drank in a little over a month. Since I honestly thought it would be the last game of the year, I had 4 two finger pours during the game. Not a ton but enough to get me there. Well I didn’t ride yesterday didn’t think I had that bad of a hangover but didn’t feel like riding. Well rode today and fuck it was horrible. Not out of the saddle for a couple days horrible but completely out of shape felt like throwing up horrible.

    only conclusion I came to was either I have to not drink at all ever or stay with my drinking once a week. After the clean living drinking that much and working out was fucking stupid. Maybe if I’d have done a low impact ride it wouldn’t have been that bad

    thing I hate about Peloton is they play songs so much they get into my head and I start liking them. There are couple Bieber songs I like for the reason along with an Ariana Grande song too. Can’t imagine taking a class with just either of them.

    Did my longest ride yet today. Been doing 5+ rides a week for 5 weeks now and feeling good. Down about 15-18 pounds but only about 1/3 of the way to my goal weight. Yes, I'm not the slender Adonis I once was but we're getting back to it one day at a time. I've become a fan of the HIIT and Tabata rides. Just knocking it out for 20-30 minutes of intense peddling and then going about my day has been enjoyable. I'm sure I'll start doing more of the longer rides as I get more and more comfortable and need to challenge myself further. Alex is my preferred instructor but I can only do the same exact rides of his a few times each before I know the script and find it harder to stay tuned in. Dude is exciting though and very motivational. Plus he likes some good music.

    And Dua Lipa is fire. Do not speak ill.
