He is actually playing on the Bonnaroo grounds May 28th. Which is the next county over for me. But I ain't buying four tickets to secure my own pod. I don't know what Im going to do to get in that show. I think scalping is practically dead with social distancing guidelines.
Oh you. I was already too deep in making mine when you posted yours. I skimmed yours. Didn’t seem like you put everyone?
I didn't make that shit. Copy/pasta mate. But it says everyone. It's in order by day just as it is on the lineup. So maybe you didnt skim hard enough.
I might take 1 or 2 spots if you go this route. Trying to get a free pod though through a friend first.
Keep me in touch if you need an extra one as well. I'm also on the fence right now because Im not 100% sure if I will have my daughter that night. As of now she will be with her mom.
Bitch please. It was obvious I didn't try to pass it off as my own considering I pasted the reddit link.
I'll me making my usual rock/indie only playlist soon and then playlists for all music broken down by each day. It feels good to be back.
Is anyone pumped about Foo Fighters? They have a great live rep but I listened to that new record several times and it sucks
I've seen them a few times and it's always a great big sing along with a lot of energy. I wish they were closing out Sunday.
I guess I have been waiting for this to find out. I've never just dug in to them before outside of all their radio hits over the years. Never disliked them but never got really into them.
Have seen Foo a few times. Always put on a great show, tons of energy. Not being fully invested in the headliners will be fun for us. Get a chance to see some side stage shows that are the same time slot as headliners. So far it's just my wife and I. My buddy might go. Her dad has always wanted to go and had tickets last year. Family friend couple have gone a lot, but she's very paranoid about COVID so I'm not sure what their plans will be.
Headliners run unopposed. Maybe a 15min start to the late night in a tent at the end. Edit add on: the main headliner of the day on What. Edit add on 2: headliners set times have come down drastically. Gone are 2.5-3 hr sets. I think RHCP barely played 90mins. Set times are down across the board.
Not being invested in the headliners gives you time to go back to camp, eat, refuel booze and things, and get good spots for late night shows etc.
Hell even if you post up somewhere on the ground in the back of What field just to sit down or lay down and rest. Also would be a decent time for him and his lady to hit up all the vendors.
I've mentioned before but we have two ADA folks in our croo so we always camp right up front by Centeroo so the last few headliners I didn't care about were spent at camp getting drunk and eating. Also had to get warmer clothes which I believe we will need again this year in September.
Not talking down to you either ButchCassidy I know you're a music/festival vet. I'm just pumped to be talking about Roo again. Playlist bumping in the background
Oh no offense taken! I went to Roo in 2006, so it's been quite a while, lol. We've gone to Lollapalooza that past 4-5 years, but that was mostly because we have multiple friends in the Chicago area, so a free place to stay. We always look at other festival lineups, but Bonnaroo I've always wanted to go back to, plus the "free" camping, lol. I think it's great to have some vets like Daddy Rabbit and Tex to get the do's and don'ts!
I want to go to Lollapalooza. I love Chicago. I was planning to go there for part of my bachelor party last year but stupid Covid hit.

(MANCHESTER) It looks as if the Bonnaroo Music andf Arts Festival will actually become a part of Manchester, Tennessee. The board of mayor and alderman voted unanimously to annex the property knowns as New Era Farms. Officials with Bonaroo approached the city government administration and requested that their property be annexed. This makes them eligible for city police and fire services along with utilities. Previously, the Bonnaroo land was not within Manchester's city limits.
Believe I have my guest pass secured. Now just trying to figure out the logistics of driving to Nashville first thing Saturday morning, fly to Charlotte and reverse the process Sunday morning. Saturday is stupid stacked too
We were not wowed by the lineup and unless they offer a single-day shuttle, we will skip Bonnaroo this year. The EDM lineup is meh and Saturday is the only day we would go.
I forgot I still had flight credits from canceling last year. I just used those to book flights for this year
I'm already in Roo mode now. Combination of lots of things. A it's Roo. B it's been two years. C last live music over a year ago. D I'm so ready to go camping. Hoping to knock some rust off of C and D here shortly.
Now that The Farm has been annexed, are Manchester cops going to be bitches and ruin everyone’s fun? Because fuck that if so.
I've been trying to put together a "must haves" for our campsite, outside of the obvious: Canopy Curtain of some-sort for the canopy Rug/blanket Shower Bag Baby wipes, TP, hand sani Sleeping cot Sleep mask and ear plugs Battery powered fan We have a little camping stove with a couple of the green propane tanks. Will bring a french press, tho IDK if coffee is a good idea cause I always have to shit after, lol.
Get that morning shit out after the coffee hits. The portajohns are clean then. Or if you’re close to Centeroo just walk in to the clean real bathrooms.
I really doubt it. Roo brings in too much money. Just don’t be an idiot out in front of them and everyone will be fine.
