Texas has a good starting duo with Tristan Stevens paired with Madden. Horns leading KU 6-0 in T9. Stevens: 7 IP, 7 H, 0 R, 4 SO/0 BB on 107 pitches with 73 strikes
Lol no it shouldn’t have The 3rd baseman thought it was a dead ball and just soft tossed it towards first base
Uhh trainer visiting with Hill and he was clenching his hand after delivering that 1-0 pitch, which missed Ahh fuck he's being lifted with 1 out in T2 after 34 pitches
He’s got a history of arm issues and after his last outing you have to wonder if something is going on
Hogs score 5 in the 7th to take the lead vs Auburn 5-4. Wiggins in now Franklin hit a bullet to the gap and Auburn’s CF made a fantastic leaping catch in a full sprint to save two more runs
Well Bradfield drove in two with a double and now Carter Young belts a 3-run HR with 1 out in T2 to make it 5-0
Hoping that's not a trend going forward with other pitchers this year, everyone only had 4-5 starts last year and going from that to 20ish starts throwing 90+ pitches each time seems like a shock to the system
Got crossed up last night and took a 92ish fastball off his wrist, was looking like an every weekend starter at catcher
Only liking the Nebraska posts for the participation from other fan bases not because of the content. Go Hoosiers
that'll be it for the night: 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R (1 earned), 12 SO/3 BB on 105 pitches with 69 strikes. Fastball control wasn't his best tonight. 8-2 in T7 in Baton Rouge UGA used 8 pitchers in their 5-3 W over South Carolina Will Bednar in Miss St's series-clinching 3-2 W over UK tonight: 6 IP, 3 H, 2 ER, 10 SO/2 BB on 85 pitches Monteverde with a rough outing for TTU in their 7-2 loss to K-St. 6 ER in 4 IP but 7 SO/0 BB so maybe some bad luck ASU and Zona tied 4-4 in T6 TCU with a 11-7 W over OU Daniel Federman in Miami's 3-1 W over Duke: 6 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 4 SO/1 BB on 86 pitches
Our bullpen strikes again. Been the same shit all year. Offense and defense are good enough. Starting pitching was legit tonight. Then one or two innings happen where we just can’t get an out. And we make things worse by walking extra hitters and getting behind in almost every count. Awfully frustrating considering we had a good chance to win the series tonight.
From the discussion on tv and twitter it seems like Manieri's time at LSU may be running out. I assume the LSU baseball ego will lead to Bianco as the #1 candidate followed by some combo of O'Sullivan, Corbin, and maybe Dan McDonnell.
Cliff Godwin. Which will suck balls for us when Mike retires because Cliff has already turned down the Alabama and State jobs waiting on Mike to retire.
