My dota game knowledge is old but if the Midas isn’t quickly earned then it rapidly loses its value and you may want to put the gold elsewhere.
i am at the point where i auto-report ogre players. think I've faced ogre mid three times tonight and there's literally nothing you can do to them i had 3k nw to an ogre with 1.5 nw a few minutes into the game and he still gets midas and carries the game.
anyone alive in here? new fun hero for turbo: carry dazzle 2x nulls, witch blade, phase boots, and a force staff and you do so much damage and can't be killed. then you get the deso/bloodthorne/ac and you're so good as a utility core that also heals and saves teammates
right, its not going to keep up with a pa or something but the shard (you attack every time you use a spell, like puck's talent) + the 50 dmg talent is silly
It’s probably way out of meta by now but Matu used to play mid dazzle with necrobooks which always looked really fun. Giant healbombs with more targets and helps you farm.
Can confirm that Dazzle in the current state of the game (especially turbo) is not a 5, but tons of fun in a core/semi-carry role. 5/0/17 6/1/16
I have never seen an anime before, but I started the dota one on Netflix. It's pretty solid. New hero has to be Marci, Fymwym or Kaden for sure. Maybe the rebel leader
I’m not a big dota lore guy so most of the show goes over my head but it’s solid. Invoker backstory is arguably best written part. Marci and DK are best characters. Luna is a bitch, so it tracks. I also haven’t watched an anime but the art is good, the noses really really bug me
i enjoy the lore but know nothing about it i'll watch the cartoon later. have never watched an anime.
Is anyone watching the Singapore major? Time zone sucks so not watching live, but following YouTube replays. Thunder fucking Predator from SA is the 1 seed from round robin play, and they somehow get matched with Secret round 1. What a load of shit. They played so amazing so far just to get fucked by the awful tourney setup.
I've been watching a lot of it. i think it comes on at like 8 pm #westcoastbestcoast that's brutal about TP because they're two losses away from earning $0 (and 0 DPC points) lots of teams look shitty because 1. the best teams haven't played yet and 2. there are so many stand-ins.
I don’t think TP is gonna do a lot, but I do think there’s going to be a big changing of the guard so to speak with lots of notable pros falling off and or getting replaced soon, and some formerly good teams that may suck now. There’s usually a ton of turnover in a 1.5 year span that’s largely been delayed by a lack of lans/many tournaments period.
Carry IO is absolutely broken my god. Secret just got dumpstered by it. It has lost once all tournament
Secret just got stomped by IG and are out. EG’s kryptonite is gone and both opponents they could meet in the finals they’ve already beaten. If rtz will literally ever win a major this has to be it.
I thought they threw the last match against LGD when he dove the fountain with aegis. Luckily Abed carried super hard with SS and had like a quad to close it out.
Disagree imo. Icex3 and Cr1t are two of the most entertaining players in the world. Abed is too just because he’s absurdly skilled.
i'm not talking about how they play dota. i'm talking about them as people. but yes, those three imports are really good. its a shame they don't need to follow valve's rules re: living where you play
Bruh, you have to let PPD go. OG and secret have been importing players for years. Not even China is a landlocked region anymore. They’re bringing in players from SEA. not to mention valve’s rules were never about stopping international teams. They were about stopping teams based in one region from relocating to easier ones to qualify.
no i don't care much about the rules, though i do disagree what what you wrote because valve explicitly talked about helping regions so they want people playing in the regions they represent. i care much more as an NA viewer when abed, iceiceice, and crit are not all that accessible when i watch pubs. the recent boot camp aside, it sucks when BSJ, Sammy, and Gunnar are the best players in each game when i watch on twitch.

i thought EG would win because theyve looked awesome all week but i can't believe how dominant they look vs IG (at this point, 20 min into game 2). IG doesnt look like they can do anything... morph/naga in game 1 and faceless void in game 2? they're not even losing with their good drafts. totally outdrafted and/or intimidated.
They threw G3 and couldn’t reset. On their heels the rest of the series. Got outdrafted in G5 I thought.
