The LAC loss was basically on Rondo. He was so fucking bad when he came in for Trae. Like he didn't even care.
Obviously our roster is built with a strong lean toward pick and roll because of Trae/John/etc Rondo is basically unable to run the P and R. Lou Will is an elite pick and roll scorer. Now Gallo can pick and pop, Knight/OO can roll to the rim and you can have secondary actions with Bogie, Huerter, etc. to not get killed when Trae sits will be amazing. hated the Rondo signing immediately when it happened. Glad Shlenk saw the error and got stuff for it
I agree. But they probably are just hoping for playoff rondo in LA. He didn’t give a shit in Atlanta.
Halfway through the west coast swing 2-2 and should be 4-0. collins was amazing last night. schedule is real soft after this road trip.
Collins out Hunter still not comfortable on the knee Reddish in a boot still Dunn hasn’t played a snap this is a catastrophic season all together
If the Hawks drop it in overtime after the Braves lost in extras I'm going to go to bed really upset.
Well then GOOD NEWS! Holy shit what a game, Trae completely took that game over in OT. Everyone out there has to be exhausted.
I love Trae but he and Huerter were pure shit at the end of regulation. Trae needs playoff experience and needs to be put in a high stakes meat grinder. glad we won. New Orleans will name their score tomorrow night
This has to be a very impressive win right? I know Zion isn't playing, but basically half the starting unit for the Hawks tonight were bench players and they are blowing out the Pelicans.
4-4 on the road trip with all the injuries is really incredible. tied for fifth in the East If we can get lucky with injuries for a fn month we would be out of the playin tournament comfortably
Rathburn just said the Pelicans were down four starters so this was definitely their second unit as well, still this means they end this grueling road trip 4-4.
Capella does an insane amount of work every night, he almost had a double-double after the first quarter.
We had a line up of Lou Bogie Snell Gallo Capella and it was amazing to see 5 vets who just know how to fn play. man if we ever get healthy for like 6 weeks
Tony Snell is so damn solid at what he does. Gallo punishes small defenders and Bogie has been unlocked by Nate Bc Lloyd was using him as catch and shoot.
That’s the biggest takeaway from tonight. We don’t have to turn to a bench of Vince Carter and guys that can legally order a beer. A bunch of solid vets ready to go.
Everyone in the offseason needs to get bionic knees and ankles since half of them are going to have those injuries next season.
