Cherry picking “facts” to pretend your law based off the big lie makes you equal, or in his eyes better than a state that has universally celebrated great voting access. All while also lying about Stacy Abrams wanting the game to be moved. Just your everyday republican in 2021. Lie, make disingenuous arguments, and proclaim “cancel culture” when a private entity makes a market based decision.
“Global warming is good because it will kill the Coca-Cola polar bears,” Rand went on to add in fiery address to an assembled press pool.
What are the points republicans aren’t talking about? Lack of automatically mailed ballots, reduction of drop boxes? What else was in that bill that cut voter access
Ability to fire the person who refuses to overturn the election if they don’t like the outcome, and then hire a willing partisan to cook up some fuckery.
Do people think Jim Crow laws were all like “if you are black then you can gtfo and you cannot vote?” It wasn’t like there was a guy in a clown suit pulling black folks out of the voting lines with a vaudeville hook. Next I’ll see people saying “but are literacy tests really racist though?”
Has any golfer backed out of the Masters yet? Giving the history of that sport and that venue specifically, I'm guessing no. But I'm surprised there hasn't been more online pressure to do so
yes. If I have pictures or videos of my exs I shouldn’t post them on line or anywhere to be an asshole. Unless we made it specifically to be posted or distributed it’s not only morally reprehensible but should also be illegal.
Ironically he's talking about why so many people nationally are Braves fans. Back in the day with limited channels, only a game or so were on a week nationally or whatever it was. But Turner started his cable network and broadcast the Braves nationally...I think maybe the only team with that kind of consistent availability at that scale. So thats why you have so many people no where near Atlanta are huge lifelong Braves fans. I think thats what he's getting at...just thinking back to when we changed channels with a knob on the TV

Here is a good summary: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/02/us/politics/georgia-voting-law-annotated.html
90% of this list spent time on one of my fantasy rosters And Jahvid Best was actually good. He just kind of got dropped on his head and knocked unconscious like twice in 3 years
You're giving him way too much credit if you think he knows Braves and Cubs games were at one point broadcast nationally.
What are the odds Walmart or any of the large companies do anything about it? Could the NCAA pull regionals or supers for baseball?
The Ds should be running ads in primetime and finding new ways to make their agenda the trending news, part 1849304.
I think it's more there's so many games but he can't find the one he wants? I dunno. Sounds more like someone who can't comprehend there are more than 4 channels on TV now.
oh I don't think he actually knows that...more just the appearance of it. Even a dolt could remember back to when TV was more simple....especially a fatass who has watched 12 hours a day since then.
Pure brilliance here. I completely understand how such a wordsmith figured out a way to get millions to worship everything he does.
I literally prefaced my post by saying as much. Public pressure never comes internally in these situations, just surprised the same people that pressured MLB online haven't also focused on the Masters.
Why did they move to Cobb? I know there was a lot of contraversy about it. I assume it was just gross tax abatement or something.
That's where a lot of their fans live (white people) Also of note, the city offered to build marta tracks going to the new stadium, but Cobb declined because they didn't want the "urban element" to be able to ride the train into Cobb. Make of that what you will...
Race, pretty much. https://www.ibtimes.com/atlanta-braves-move-cobb-county-about-race-not-transportation-1470814
