She’s been alright. Feel like she’s slow on the questions and sometimes her yes/no response seems a little...off?
I still have to believe it is going to be Ken. The carousel of guest hosts is a just so he won’t be immediately compared to Alex because there will never be a winner in that comparison aside from alex and so that he has some time to work with the backstage crew and become a better host
Susan impressed me with her daily double wagering. I can't think of a reason not to bet it all at any point in single Jeopardy. Especially when it's a 600 slot question.
Promoting Rodgers as "Celebrity Jeopardy Champion" is like being the tallest midget. Those shows are laughably easy.
Didn’t watch a single Dr. Oz show. Wasn’t necessarily a planned protest as much as it was work travel and being busy, and I feel bad for the contestants over the past two weeks, but that grifter made it real easy not to pick up the DVR. Excited to pick back up with Rodgers this week.
Obviously hated that they gave Oz a rotation but he did okay. My wife commented after a few shows that he wasn't really noticeable, which counts as serviceable, imo.
He did better than expected. Should become even more relaxed and natural going forward. In terms of wins and losses, that was a win for him.
He actually was ready for it. He said in a recent interview that he could see on the host's monitor the Final Jeopardy answers as the contestants were writing them out. He said he couldn't believe it as he watched it being written out. He was not completely blindsided upon the reveal. (no pun intended)
Feel like Rodgers is surprisingly good at this. I know he put in a lot of work and really wants to be the full time guy.
I lost it at this answer on Monday. Just admitting that we should pay reparations to all these people but haven’t.
Watched his second show, thought Rodgers was pretty good. Only thing is his tone can be a little sleepy at times. Makes you appreciate some of the subtle things that Trebek would do with his voice.
Oooof *rough* final tonight. Thought she was going to win with 300. Had to laugh at Rodgers trying to keep from laughing as he announced the jeopardy match to charity since it was so low tonight
also a completely spineless wager by Pasquale. he could've lost with the correct answer despite going in with the lead
this was fantastic. especially because they get every other one in that category. "who are the boston celtics?" "oh, that one you knew..."
Rodgers was great. excited for Anderson Cooper. Then bill Whitaker. Don’t know the person after that. Don’t really care about Savannah Guthrie or Sanjay Gupta. Evidently Buzzy is hosting tournament of champions
