We’re three games in and I’m already sick of hearing Your Love every time Blackmon hits. Would be so pissed if I was his teammate and that was stuck in my head for 6 months
I don't mind it. There was a time when that was my go to karaoke jam. Pretty impressive how much the crowd participates on "tonight".
Yeah I mean I’m down to drunkenly belt that out at karaoke a couple times a year for sure. 4 times a game for 6 months, woof.
Dave said he didn't want regs playing all four games at Coors Field, don't know why. Suspect he is going to be generous with days off as long as they can show that they'll win the division. If they start to slide a bit, he'll reign in those off days.
Not that Buehler would have done any damage (I miss the DH) but I’m not sure any of those 3 pitches were strikes
Hope this isn’t sacrilege but if we have to choose between Seager and Bellinger I hope we go Seager. Obligatory why not both
My quick rankings of our hitters that I put about 30 seconds of thought into. Seager Betts Muncy Taylor Turner Bellinger Smith Pollock Lux Barnes
Wow, I'm trying to see Taylor ahead of those big names lower and it's a bit of a stretch. Not a big stretch but a fun thinker.
Turner a few years ago would be way up there, just seems like he’s lost a step. Bellinger has bigger flashes but is also a bit inconsistent.
Not sure I’d go that far, but we’ve had much better utility/bench players in the past. And can certainly do better
Not much more nerve wracking than walking a guy in the bottom of the 9th at Coors to bring the winning run to the plate. With kenley pitching.
1st homer of the year was memorable. What should've been the first homer of the year is even more memorable.
On a team full of batters with great eyes, Pollock is startlingly bad. Swings at so much out of the zone
Garbage. When we are up 10-0 in the 8th against the Reds he will hit a hr. Hasn’t done shit when it matters. Absolute garbage in the playoffs the last two years.
There isn’t anything to legitimately complain about so I’m just going to slander Beaty any chance I get.
Have only seen an inning and a half but rumors of Kershaw’s demise appear to have been greatly exaggerated.
3-2 game, top 9. Dodgers need insurance. Men on the corners. 1 out. up steps AJ Pollock. not only should he have struck out on 3 pitches, his shallow pop fly could not bring the runner home
Jansen was bad, but him going on back to back days is not ideal. We need to get Brusdar ready already. Also, we left like 78 guys on base
Knew going into the year that Jansen was likely the biggest liability. Wonder if they will do anything to lock in an elite closer and make this season as easy as it’s supposed to be.
